Ialna Boutique Hotel

This is a beautiful place to stay. You just open the door and get into a magical space. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. The comforts are plenty and hospitality is great. An ideal plafe to stay in the castle. The plafe of breakfast is too friendly and comfortable. We will stay again in that beautiful hotel. It's a must.

Located centrally within the castle walls. Parking is a struggle in the area. The hotel is attractive with spacious rooms. For us, there was the negative of it being a third floor walk up with skylights and no other windows. Others may not object but we NEVER are content in a room you can’t see out of. Breakfast was about average except fresh OJ was not on offered, the first time in three weeks travel in Greece where fresh squeezed orange juice wasn’t on the buffet.

We chose this place for the high ratings and location, and we were so happy we did it. The hotel is small and beautiful. Our room was nicely decorated and we could see parts of the archeological site through the glass floor, just unique! Breakfast was abundant, fresh and delicious but what it made it most memorable is the hospitality of Violeta, the manager. Very welcoming, helpful and friendly. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it.

staff very considerate and polite especially Violeta who was very understanding when we had a family issue. the beds are comfy the hotel is clean the breakfast is enough, only one negative which is that coffee in room does not get replenished and there is none outside of breakfast time. although there is not much of a view from either of our rooms there was a very pretty courtyards space. The location was great. Would stay again x

Simple but classy entrance to excellent welcome. Violeta at the front desk had exceptional warmth and service, as did others we met. Room was small but fascinating with a raised bed above illuminated archeological ruins under glass. Magical! Best mattress and linens we’ve slept on in Greece. Delicious breakfast with plenty of choices set around an outdoor courtyard. And our room was quiet despite being on the courtyard. Only downside, leaky shower made bathroom floor wet but they plan to fix it. We highly recommend staying here.

We had the most incredible stay at the Ialna and highly recommend it to anyone looking to travel to Ioannina! Here are some of the MANY reasons why you should choose the Ialna: - The location is perfection! Located right in the castle walls, everything feels magical and walkable. - The pictures do not do the hotel justice!! The hotel is absolutely stunning, from the lobby to the courtyard, to the spacious rooms, it is all beautiful. The exposed white brick is really romantic and just gorgeous. - Rooms are so special and clean! One of the few places we have traveled to and didn’t want to leave the room. - Wine Cellar!!!! Just an amazing feature to walk downstairs to and have a bottle of wine in the wine cellar. - The NICEST staff. Everyone was so helpful. After being stranded at the airport, we called the hotel and the front desk sent us a cab! They answered all of our questions. Violet was particularly kind at the breakfast spread on the courtyard! Felt like we had known her a lifetime. There is no other option when traveling to Ioannina! Can’t wait to stay there again!
