Except for the far pricier El Dorado hotel, this is definitly the best hotel in the town with all the comforts and amenities needed for a good stay. My room was very large, with an in-room safe, fridge, and cable TV. The AC worked well (though it had a hard time in the heat of the day. The room was well maintained and cleaned . Location was an easy walk in the cool of the day to the Plaza Armas and the Malacon or if if was hot or you were lazy a Motokaro ride of 2 soles -about 80 cents US The Breakfast buffet was sufficient-- not any variety, but plenty with eggs, meat, fruit, breads and juice to start you day. The smallish pool looked nice though I didn't use it, and the hotel staff were always friendly and accommodating. I was offered a late check-out, and complimentary shuttle to the airport at the end of the stay-- something that I actually hadn't expected. No doubt if I return to Iquitos this will be my choice.

I'm going to start with the positive things. I was able to rest peacefully. The room was tidy and clean. Breakfast wasn't full of options but it was delicious. The A/C was quiet and working as expected. Now, what I didn't like. First, breakfast was never on time. It was supposed to be ready by 6:30am and it took the staff another 15 minutes to get everything ready. It was a problem for me because I had to go back to my room (on the 4th floor), brush my teeth and be outside by 7am looking for a "moto-taxi". That was another problem: Public transportation. I requested a taxi to the front desk clerk and it just never came. Moto-taxis are always available but your clothes will absorb all the smell from the fumes of cars and other motorbikes. Also, when taking a moto-taxi make sure you wear glasses. Finally, the internet service. It was decent if I was standing outside my room. Inside my room it would constantly come and go. I had that problem with my smartphone. I have to say that with my laptop the conection was more stable. Last but not least, the shuttle to the airport was not on time which was an enormous disapppointment. I would probably end up taking another moto-taxi. As a conclusion, I would try to make to the Double Tree Hilton but this one is not a bad option; it would be great if they could do something about the issues that I mentioned above.

Cute hotel in Iquitos. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nice showers with plenty of hot water. Pretty view of the street and trees. Convenient restaurant/bar with very reasonable prices. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The helped us find a great guide to see the Belen market. We loved it! His name was Jorge and I highly recommended him!! The location is good, close to ATM, grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, a city plaza and the river front. We loved our stay and would stay here again if we return to the amazon.

Very nice little hotel right in the middle of walking distance to everything!! Went out with the kids overnight and it was such a fun experience of their nightlife. That air conditioning was delightful. The shower pressure felt so good. The breakfast in the morning was very nice. The place was nice and clean.

Stayed here twice in June 2018. First time was on the 4th floor. Second time was on the fifth floor (Room 516) and it rained and we had a water leak from the ceiling by the lampside lamp. It also rained during the night and leaked from the ceiling in several places. Room internet was poor at best - during our second stay we NEVER had any access to internet. Internet in the Cafe Bar was a little better - but not by much. The rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Just a very good experience. The front desk staff was both very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is clean and the cleaning staff did a great job on our rooms. The food in the restaurant is as good as any in the city and the staff was excellent.

All the people who work at the hotel, at the reception, in the restaurant and the cleaners, do a very good job. The rooms are small, but well designed, very comfortable, just what you need to rest and go out to do the activities planned for your visit to the city of Iquitos.
