We returned to the Hope And Glory Inn to celebrate the Fourth of July weekend because we had such an enchanting experience the first time and knew we would have a great time again. Peggy , Dudley, and Heather provided blue ribbon service, and made us feel like family. We enjoyed delicious oysters and wine while watching the Fourth of July parade pass by. That night, Heather recommended a special place for us to see the fireworks which was perfect.

This is a return visit for us. We’ve stayed in the cottages before and very much enjoyed them. This time we stayed in the Inn for four nights. It was very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed this visit too! The staff were very attentive and we had everything we needed.

We took a last-minute trip to Irvington on our way to northern Virginia. We called the Hope & Glory Inn the day before and they were very welcoming and happy to accommodate us! It was a most pleasurable and relaxing experience. The owners, Peggy and Dudley, are exceptional hosts and made us feel as though we were in our own home. Highly recommend the Hope & Glory Inn!!

Enchanting. That's the best word for an amazing visit to The Hope and Glory Inn in Irvington, VA. From the moment you step through the door -- the warm greeting from the charismatic innkeepers (Peggy and Dudley), to the cozy comfort of the cottages, to the fine dining experience from the masterful chef. Enchanting.

If you're looking for genuine southern hospitality Hope & Glory is it! Peggy and Dudley are hands on and go out of their way to ensure you enjoy your stay. The cottages are cozy and each one has it's own unique furnishings. The breakfasts delivered to your door are homemade and a great way to start your day. The staff go out of their way to ensure your comfort. The salt water pool is always in perfect condition and provides a good place to get a little sun. Evening dinner at the Colonnade is very special. Chef Meseret's dinners are a foodies delight and Heather pairs the perfect wines with each course. Hope & Glory is truly a gem in Irvington. It's the perfect place to get detoxed from life's everyday stresses. We have been coming to Hope & Glory for years and each visit is like seeing old friends again. We look forward to our next visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the charming Hope and glory Inn. Heather met us at the door and kindly showed us to our comfortable cottage after a short tour of the lovely grounds. Innkeepers were very accommodating, and the breakfast delivered to our cottage was delicious! There are darling shops, and fun eateries all around the area, which we enjoyed as well. Hope to return!
