Friendly staff from the beginning of the experience, really cool room, comfortable and cozy, buffet breakfast with lot of options. It's just im the center of Ischgl so best location for skiing and apresski.

Great hotel and staff excellent. Manager grumpy and good food. Couldn’t sit and listen to duo at new year as no tables. So headed out to the town which was superb with fire works.

Stayed here a few times in the past and has always been a good choice. During the pandemic, they have refurbed the place and it’s very impressive. State of the art boot room for example. Helpful and extremely friendly staff throughout. Very nice people. Jasmina at reception and Ivan at the bar can’t do enough for you Thank you

There were plenty of positives or us at this hotel, but the negative aspects mean that we would not return. The hotel reception area is inviting, the rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The bath in our room was a lovely bonus. The boot/ski locker room was great and our boots were warm and dry in the mornings. The pool and spa area were great and well used by us. The welcome/check-in was efficient with a lovely glass of Prosecco and the stocked mini bar in the room was a lovely touch - a cola, an orange drink, a beer, 2 little bottles of wine and a 300ml bottle of water. There was a kettle in the room and a few tea bags, but no coffee or milk/cream. When we enquired, we were told that coffee would be charged for. After seeing that our 1 litre carafe of tap water had been charged to our room, we questioned this. We were told that this charge was "Ischgl wide" and it was in the booking literature. To be honest, we had not noticed it, but we spoke to our travel company Rep, suggesting that this information needs to be more obvious, in the literature. The charge for 1 litre of tap water was 2.80 Euros, but because a few of the other guests brought it up, the management decided that they would no longer provide tap water with evening meals, instead, the only option was a 750ml bottle of water for 6.90 Euros. We ended up taking our own water bottles to dinner. While I appreciate it was one of the first full weeks of the season, this is an established hotel and we expected the restaurant staff to be better. Some days the service was slow and dirty plates were not cleared from the table, other times the plates were taken away before everyone had finished that course. The evening of the buffet was not good. The trays/terrines of food were not labelled, so we did not know what they were. The vegetarian dishes were on the same platter as the meat dishes and during the buffet and at breakfast, the same serving tongs were used for meat and vegetarian dishes. My husband can't eat fish and there was only 1 serving implement for the fish and a pasta dish. The soups were average, at best. The French Onion soup was not palatable at all. Finally, there was a safe in the room, which was locked/unlocked using the room keycard, rather than a code. We were unsure if the "master key" used by the hotel staff for cleaning the room, would also be able to open the safe, thus making it very poorly secure. We had a lovely holiday and this review isn't a moan or a gripe. We felt that it was important for any future guests to have this information, when planning their stay.

The best ski hotel HB accommodation I have stayed in in Europe without doubt. Our ski trip stay in Ischg| was enhanced by our hotel experience. Friendly staff, excellent food, superb room ,great facilities/ amenities.& good location in a amazing village. Pleasant walk along Ischg| Main Street Gondola cue varies between 15 mins and fastest cue 5 mins) End of Day Return RED 1 skiing gets to 40 metres from the hotel GOT TO BE GOOD SKIER Apres Ski - Hotel ideal location in beautiful village Shops / bars very close ADDITIONAL Hotel was amazing for our skiing week-5 star • Boot room superior with lockers locked on room cards and boot heaters . Very spacious room for getting ready to ski • room night safe (secure on room keys cards too) • night entrance access with room key card security • Attention to detail even got packed lunch for return home OVERALL 5 star stay at hotel Massive thanks to hotel and staff.

I'd rate this hotel 4.5 stars for the price we paid with Crystal which seemed excellent (£1250 each full board in early Jan-23 with flights and transfers) for what is an expensive resort. Good comfortable beds, great food, friendly staff and very good spa which they under sell on their website. Close enough to the lifts and you can ski back nearly to the door. Lovely open fire in the bar area. Hardly any negatives but I couldn't give 5 stars because.... Paying 2.8 euros for carafes of tap water at dinner seemed cheeky and their 34 euro red wine was pretty bad. The water left a bad taste for some of our party who then didn't order other drinks with dinner when they otherwise would have. The under bed areas of the rooms and on top of the wardrobes were quite dirty, not a major point. Overall I would go back.
