Tenuta la Quassa is a beautiful villa overlooking the Lago Maggiore. It has huge gardens, which make it a perfect venue for weddings. We stayed only one night, but it’s intended for longer stays, with wide lounges and living areas. Our suite had a large lounge, a table, two balconies, a bed in a corner of the living room, a bedroom and two full bathrooms. It was on a second floor, with no elevator, but the couple in charge of the service (from Sri Lanka), helped us with the luggage. The large living room was very hot that afternoon, but the bedroom was already cool. Next morning, we had our Continental breakfast served at our table, inside the suite; we opened all the windows and the weather was delicious. The owner, a senior lady, was there next morning, and when we said we hadn’t paid the city taxes, she refused to charged them, and said it was on her. It's a great place to relax, read, paint, write or celebrate a wedding.
