Hotels near Hagia Sophia, Istanbul

This hotel is in a great location, with the famous Hagia Sophia and Basilica Cistern right next to it. It is a few minutes' walk from the main attractions, which is very convenient. The hotel service is very good, and can arrange tours for guests, book taxis to the airport, and other services. Breakfast is served in a beautiful Turkish-style restaurant downstairs, with a rich variety of food. The tram passes in front of the door, and transportation is convenient.

Before I left, I saw someone comment that the room had bed bugs, and I was thinking about changing hotels temporarily, but I didn't do so in the end - it turned out to be correct, because I didn't encounter any unpleasant insects in the room. In addition, Ctrip's booking tips said ”the hotel has no front desk service” and ”need to contact in advance to check in”. Ctrip and I tried to contact the hotel many times in succession to no avail, but fortunately, the hotel actually has a front desk service, and it doesn't seem to need to contact in advance (after all, we couldn't contact it all the time). The hotel is next to the Hagia Sophia, and the room faces the Bosphorus, where seagulls fly, which is very pleasant. When checking in, a handsome waiter helped with the luggage at the hotel, and I was very grateful to him (when he was carrying the luggage, I was still worried that I didn't have cash to pay the tip, but fortunately he didn't ask for a tip in the end, but he was very friendly and explained the precautions). Because the hotel needed to clean the room, I didn't get the opportunity to check in early, but I could store my luggage and sit down and rest in the terrace restaurant. Overall, it was very good, but the only drawback was that the curtains in the room were a little light-transmitting, and it was a little difficult to pull the curtains. In addition, when locking/unlocking the patio door, you need to lift the door handle upwards and turn the key at the same time.

The boss is very nice, there is a group photo without a single photo. Just beside the cathedral, it is very convenient to go out. The room was very general, even the mineral water was not delivered, the kettle was not available, but it had no effect on backpackers. Many nights at the door have eaten and drunk. Breakfast is very nice!

The best hostel / hotel I've stayed so far. The person who took care of us was amazing and very helpful. The room was clean but since it's close to the main restaurants line, it can be a bit noisy. The location is very nice to travel, close to the stores and restaurants.

The hotel is in a very good location, and it is very convenient to go anywhere. The service is also very good. Especially Orhan Guler at the front desk, he is handsome and nice, and helped me a lot. Then the most noteworthy thing about the hotel is the breakfast, which is really delicious and refreshed my understanding of Turkish food. You can also eat while watching the sunrise. Personally, I think this small hotel is very cost-effective compared to those five-star hotels far from the scenic area.

Clean and cozy hotel at a reasonable price with friendly staff willing to help! Room and private toilet & shower are pretty modern and bed is comfortable. The surroundings are quiet. Willing to come back to the hotel.

The hotel is located in the old town of the European District. It is very close to the Blue Mosque and Sophia Cathedral. It is within walking distance. The roads in the old town are steep and gravel roads. The hotel is very clean and the service is considerate and friendly. Recommended~

The location is very good, right in the old town. The cleaning lady is very nice and considerate! The old town is right outside, and the B1 and T1 lines are next to it. The breakfast is rich!

The rooms are clean, the hotel staff are friendly and very helpful, the hotel is equipped with water heaters and room heaters, there is a beautiful city view from the top of the hotel.

When I arrived the receptionist told me there were no rooms left although I had a reservation 10 days prior to my stay. He took me to another nearby hotel called Havana and told me the owner is the same. I went with him and the second receptionist is the worst, he had a pissed face and after openin the room it looked very beautiful with new amenities but a very bad smell was there he started closing the curtains and when I asked him to open the window he did but warned me not to open the curtains as there were families living in the front of us and that it was disrespectful, like I was gonna strip in front of them, so I have to keep the curtains closed and a dark room without the possibility to see when the day rose, this is a first. I want book again with them as I don’t appreciate people that are not professional and keep freestyling in management.
