Ria Suites Hotel

Hello everyone. The hotel opened quite recently - in August 2023. It is within walking distance to the main attractions. I will write a summary right away, for those who need details, read on. A HOTEL FOR UNPRESCRIBED TOURISTS, IF YOU ARE FLYING TO ISTANBUL IN ORDER TO HAVE MORE TIME TO WALK AND COME TO THE HOTEL TO SLEEP, THEN CHOOSE RIA WITH ALL FEELINGS. A small boutique hotel. Clean, normal cleaning. In general, the number of rooms is small, freshly renovated. Breakfasts are meager, but you can eat. There is a coffee machine and a cooler at the reception. The hotel has an elevator. Rooms: we checked into rooms 205, 305, 501. 205 and 305 are the same ~8 sq. m., located one above the other. The room has a double bed, a small wardrobe, a refrigerator, a TV, a dressing table with a mirror, and bedside tables. Room 501 is larger, about 12 sq. m., and has a double bed, 2 wardrobes, a refrigerator, a dressing table, and a bedside table. The renovation is recent, but there are many things to complain about. I will write more about room 501, since I actually lived in it. As I have already indicated, it opened quite recently, so there are some questions about the renovation. I was left with the impression that it is not quite new. I do not know its history, but I can assume that there was another hotel there and it was remodeled, or this is one of the abandoned buildings (of which there are several on every street in Istanbul, and there is one just opposite, and I saw it from the window). About the room. What was extremely unpleasant was that it was incredibly cold in the room, the room had a panoramic window and one small radiator could not cope with heating the room, my friends had smaller rooms, they had a sauna. The paint on the walls starts to blacken and peel in places due to dampness. My bedside table (not even a bedside table, but a hanging shelf) stood on an ottoman and there was a nail sticking out of the back, apparently it was unscrewed from somewhere and not screwed in this room))) The bathroom. Small, but comfortable for one. It contains a toilet, a sink and a shower. I was confused by the shower, because it had no door and in some places water leaked out where the partition was (apparently the seams were poorly finished). The mirror has a shelf, and even has fastenings, but, alas, there is no shelf (I missed it a little, because the sink is tiny, and you can’t put anything on it except a toothbrush, toothpaste and soap.
