We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of April. For two people, the tour cost us 80 thousand for a 4-day stay. The hotel itself is located in a quiet side street near the metro and Taksim Square, away from the noisy street. The hotel is small, 2 rooms per floor with a spiral staircase without an elevator. The room is small, there is a large comfortable bed, for some reason in the middle of the already small room a massive armchair and even a kitchenette with a mini-fridge were inserted as a design solution. Unfortunately, the designer did not have enough fabric for curtains, and therefore you can only close the window on one side, despite the fact that the windows of your room will most likely overlook the neighboring building. The room on the second floor where we stayed had its own terrace, where cats from all over the street came every morning. The furniture here is well-worn, the renovation is old. The bathtub is also a little shabby, the ventilation is too noisy, the shower stall is leaking because the doors do not close completely, and the shower head itself is leaking. If you are a tall and bulky man, then washing your hands will be a problem for you, since the sink will be the size of your palm. There is also not enough shelf for hygiene items; there is simply nowhere to put them. But if you are not picky and came to the city to see the local beauty, these nuances will not be a surprise to you. Wifi is free and available in the room, but sometimes intermittently. As for breakfast, there is no point in ordering it here as part of your tour. Breakfast is a “eat what you gave” system. The hotel on the ground floor has a common kitchen with a sofa and a couple of tables, designed for a maximum of 10 guests, like in a communal apartment. You will be served by a charming girl, but on the plate there will be 1 egg per person, olives, jam and a piece of cheese and soy sausage. As for the staff, there were no problems. The receptionist easily understands English-Turkish and is able to read Google Translator. The room was also cleaned every 2 days during the stay, and towels were changed regularly. For your money, a solid C, but if you have the opportunity to overpay an extra 50 dollars for a more decent hotel, give it a miss. Staff-5 Food-2 Cleaning-5 Room condition-3
