Good hotel. Great location, clean, comfortable beds, delicious breakfasts. The room was not big, but we only came to sleep in it, so it was quite bearable. Cleaning every day. Also replenishment of water and slippers. A pleasant impression of the hotel

But the service 😬🤦♀️ the boys at the reception are smiling, always ready to help, but the cleaning is just awful. It would have been better not to go into the room at all. On the first day I took all the slippers, the next day the robe. But the culmination - pajamas. In the end, they found them for me, brought them wet, wrinkled. This is the first time for me. And there were no apologies. The heating in the room practically did not work. We asked several times to fix it. They always accepted the application with a smile and that's it. The breakfast room is completely without heating. In general, if only the location is important, then you can safely relax in this hotel.

The front desk service attitude was terrible, impatient and perfunctory (this was felt on the first day of check-in). We waited in the lobby for 20 minutes before someone took us to the room before we checked in. The room was very small and there was nothing outside the window. The scenery is remarkable.
We accidentally broke our mobile phone while walking up the stairs because the cleaning staff did not put any signs when cleaning the stairs with soapy water. The stairs are high steps like those in European-style buildings, and the tiles are very slippery. In addition to the smashed mobile phone and skin trauma, I tried to negotiate with the hotel for half a month but still received no compensation. We tried to safeguard our rights and get in touch with the manager from the first day we stayed at the hotel, but the front desk kept delaying and delayed. The hotel's WhatsApp phone couldn't be reached, and no manager took the initiative to contact us. In the end, our compensation was 20% off our next stay😅I want to ask who will come again. I advise all foreigners not to stay at this kind of hotel that doesn't care if something goes wrong. Not treated equally.
Moreover, this hotel is located on a large slope. It is relatively close to Independence Street and has to climb up and down to get to the old city. The interior space of the hotel is small, the lights are dim, the bathroom leaks, and we even charged 1,000 lire for room service with two lunch boxes (picture 2). You can definitely go to a better hotel at the same price.

Convenient location of the hotel, about 3 minutes to the metro, wonderful staff at the reception!!! good room cleaning.

We had a great welcoming from Usuf as we stepped in Merrodi hotel Istanbul. Good advices and help were given from the reception during our stay. We don’t know for now when we could come back to Istanbul, but for sure, this have been quite a travelling experience that will remain memorable . Thank you for that.
