This is the most friendly and welcoming hostel I've stayed in so far! The team are happy to help with everything and they do evening dinners which are a great way to meet other people, especially when travelling solo. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a terrace with lovely views of the city where you can enjoy the evening.

Great location and very welcoming. In fact, I stayed in a B&B in the building next to the hotel because the hotel room was too dark. The disadvantage is that the stairs are narrow, there is no elevator, and it is too inconvenient to carry suitcases

Such a nice hostel! I got the private room and was able to sleep great. The pub crawl was insane and they do a great job with transporting you to the bars. The rooftop was a nice chill location and the staff was all super nice. A good location too next to a ton of restaurants and mosques. The boat ride through the hostel was also worth the money, but make sure to bring your own drinks

A cool little place with cool staff😎 Everyone was always happy to help. The hostel is in a nice spot with lots of restaurants and shopping options nearby. Samira can host a fun night out and experience too with her bar crawls, She makes sure you don't sit down and fall asleep.

Second Home Hostel is really what the name implies. A home away from home. I stayed here originally for 3 nights, but ended up doing a week. Incredible staff and travellers making the stay so entertaining and joyful. Katie, Samira, Ahmet and the rest of the staff are all wonderful and social butterflies. The hostel offers fun activities like Pub Crawl, Boat parties and day trips. Will stay again when i am back in Istanbul. Centrally located to everything in the old city. - Oscar (your Norwegian)

One of my best hostel experiences ever. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is amazing with other guests and the food they cooked and events they organize are simply amazing. The location is good, close to the main sights, but the neighbourhood is a bit expensive and touristy, which is fine since it’s so right next to public transport hubs. I can’t see any reason why I’d go anywhere else next time I’m in Istanbul.

Great people, nice rooms, center of the city, close to tourist sites, good vibes only! They organize daily tours around the sea as well as pub crawls if you are interested. They treat you like family. Especially Faruk & Semira. They were very good with me. I 100% recommend it.
