Nice hotel with walking distance to Metro station Sishane. Also walking distance to Galata Tower area. The hotel downside is only small lift available (max of 2-3pax) to the room.

Very Dirty!!! NOT WORTH IT!!!! WOERST NIGHT MIRRR THE BATHROOM VERY GREEN MOLD GROTH EVERY ENGEL AND THE SINCK AS WELL !!!! WE GOT MUCH BETTER HOTEL WITH EVEN LESS AND IN CENTRAL LOCATION SO DON'T EVEN CONSIDER THIS AS A HOTEL!!!

The room was dark ,small ,old , no ventilation staff so bad tempered ,rooms without view🤢🤢🤢🤢I don’t recommended it ,breakfast awful 🤢🤢 It just has a good location and this hotel is 3 star not 4 star and the shower was broken and veryyy old

We had a room with a beautiful view of the Golden Horn. But with the windows open it is very noisy. The AC didn’t work very well. So we left our windows open during the day to get fresh air (October so it was cooler) and then shut them at night. I don’t know what you would do in the summer. One day the cleaning staff left a cleaning rag in the room - guess that could happen any where but it looked like they got interrupted and never finished cleaning the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was huge like many Turkish hotels but the food was just so-so. The staff cleared our dishes off so quickly we sometimes lost food we hadn’t eaten. We caused an uproar one morning by moving a small table so 6 of us could sit together. One of the waitresses started yelling at us in Turkish - seemed a bit of an overreaction. This hotel has just seen better days. They also skimp on small things - like they won’t replace the tea and coffee packets - you have to pay after the first ones are gone. Same with the water. That’s just cheap and makes no sense. The worst thing was that Saturday night they had a huge party on the roof until midnight. The entire hotel shook with the music and drumming. It was hard to get to sleep.

I have reserved this hotel trough a travel agency they gave me a room and wrote it has a land view when I went to hotel it was a room with wall view when I objected they said land view means the hotel is built on land !!! Its good they told me this otherwise I would think the hotels are built on air !! The doorman of hotel was very rude ! He was quite impolite ! The breakfast was very normal I asked for scrambled age they said I have to pay 65 lira it’s odd !!! I never offer this hotel to anyone !!

I was in Istanbul with my friend. We came with a travel agency from Macedonia to spent nice time together. Grand Halic hotel is a nice hotel. The hotel have a perfect location. It is very easy to go to a lot of famous places in Istanbul. The staff is very helpful. Good for the money you spent.

We had a terrible experience here, very noisy, staff weren’t friendly, breakfast wasn’t good enough,the hotel was very old ,that was impossible to fall asleep at night because of noises .im not recommend here at all , save your money dont waste your time

Grand halic is The worst hotel I have ever seen. Noisy, old and bad staff . It is midnight and music is being played on 8th floor, this is insane, here is a DISCO not hotel.I do not recommend you to stay here.There are realy better choices other than this bad hotel.
