This was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Its intimate size ensured personalised service, and we were even recognised by name after checkout. The hotel was spotless, fully equipped with all the amenities, and had a fantastic spa. We were warmly welcomed with ajwa dates and sherbet, a lovely touch after a long flight. The thoughtful gifts at checkout were a wonderful surprise. Breakfast was a highlight, with a buffet alongside delicious made-to-order dishes. Huge thanks to the catering team and all the staff, especially Halima, Niyazi, and another gentleman whose name doesn’t come to mind. Will be returning on our next visit for sure!

We really loved staying at the Tomtom Suites in Istanbul. It is in a great location - near the main buzzy shopping street and about a 10 minute stroll down to the tram stop at Tophane which takes you to the historic old town and the ferry docks. The staff at the hotel were exceptional - taking time to make sure you had everything you needed for a day out and then making sure you had enjoyed your day when you returned! We felt very well looked after! Our room was on the 3rd floor and had a lovely view over the rooftops to the Bosphorus. It was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was generous in size. Breakfast on the roof terrace was excellent - both in terms of the view over to the Topkapi Palace and Hagia Sofia, and the delicious Turkish food. We would highly recommend staying at the Tomtom suites - the hotel has an understated elegance and it provides a quiet and relaxed sanctuary in the bustle and noise of Istanbul.

I just returned from my latest trip (this time with a good friend) to Istanbul and my 3rd stay at the Agora Life Hotel in three years. On arrival, we were greeted warm heartedly by Isa, the Manager, with whom I had communicated via Signal for the room reservations and the airport transfer. The rooms are functional and clean, the entire staff genuinely friendly and helpful, and the breakfast plentiful. The rooftop terrace (the ideal venue to meet for an aperitif before dinner) offers a spectacular view of the Hagia Sofia Mosque, the city, the Bosporus and one of the suspension bridges, as well as of the Galata tower. As far as the location of the hotel is concerned, the hotel is ideally situated within a short distance of the major places of historical interest. The Agora Life Hotel, while not the cheapest, is the hotel of my choice in Istanbul. I am sure to return in the coming years.

Before we start can I just say I have not stayed in this hotel but I visited to see if I could have a meal on rooftop restaurant for New Year’s Eve the gentlemen on reception where so helpful it was unbelievable they worked so hard finding me a venue for New Years Eve I’m a solo traveller so it’s important that everything is peace of mind they arranged everything and I had the best New Years Eve ever thank you 🙏 for your help and assistance if I came to Istanbul again I would definitely stay at this hotel it looked clean beautiful and really good position to visit everything thank you

We had a wonderful stay at the Mest Hotel and it was a fantastic location too. Our room was super clean and spacious too. The cleaner was such a lovely individual whom we thank a lot for their fantastic housekeeping. The staff were very attentive and so helpful whenever we needed anything. Particularly, we would like to thank Samed, Yunus, Sumeyye and the Technical personnel for making our stay very memorable. Also, a special thank you to Fatih for his guest relations and for giving us some great advice on navigating the city. Whenever we requested anything from reception, it was provided very quickly. The breakfast was brilliant, so much variety and the quality of the food was delicious and we had some breathtaking views of the Yeni Mosque in the mornings. The location itself was excellent, the hotel is tucked within a busy area of markets and bustle but no noise would come into the room. The hotel is also within walking distance of Sultanahmet, however, the hotel location itself had great shopping and dining options too. There were also bus and tram links nearby but I would recommend walking as much as you can to experience the city. I would HIGHLY recommend his hotel for anyone who is a first time visitor or like us who have come a few times. Very much looking forward to coming again and thank you to all the wonderful staff that made our stay so pleasant!

Our trip was amazing. I recently stayed at Sultania and had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. The rooms were so clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay and also the minibar was so cute. pool and fitness center, were fantastic also they have sauna and Turkish hamam for extra charging. We was choosing Turkish hamam and it was incredible. and the location was perfect—close to local attractions and restaurants. The guest relation was helping us to choose good restaraunts near GalataPort and we was going over and spending best time

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Mula Hotel in Istanbul with my family, including two toddlers, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Nestled in the heart of the old Sultanahmet area, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s within walking distance of all the major attractions, offering a perfect blend of convenience and cultural immersion. The surrounding area is a food lover’s paradise, with an array of great restaurants offering local and international cuisine. Plus, the easy access to the tram makes exploring the city a breeze. The hotel itself is a gem. My room was not only beautifully appointed but also boasted a stunning sea view that added a special touch to our family stay. Waking up to the serene vista of the sea was truly a highlight. The hotel’s family-friendly atmosphere made our stay with toddlers smooth and enjoyable. However, what really sets Mula Hotel apart is its exceptional service. Every staff member I encountered was not just professional but genuinely warm and welcoming. Their constant smiles and readiness to assist at any hour truly made me feel valued and taken care of. From getting a bottle of water in the middle of the night to personal touches like waiters remembering my omelette preferences after just one day - every detail was noticed and appreciated. I must give special mentions to Ercan at the restaurant and Ilknur at the front desk. Their outstanding service and personal attention significantly enhanced my stay. Their professionalism and kindness reflect the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction. Coming from someone who travels significantly and has stayed in several fantastic properties across the world, I can confidently say that Mula is right up at the top, and a rarity among hotels. In conclusion, Mula Hotel is more than just a place to stay; it’s a destination that offers a memorable experience. Whether it’s the prime location, the beautiful rooms, the delicious food, or the unparalleled service, this hotel ticks all the boxes for an exceptional stay in Istanbul. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city, especially those traveling with family.

The staff are very enthusiastic, especially the handsome chubby guy wearing glasses, who enthusiastically explains the nearby attractions and gives directions. I paid extra to upgrade the room type, which was very nice. I could see Galata and it was very close. We even got champagne for Valentine's Day, which was a nice surprise. When traveling in Istanbul, you can choose this hotel.

Pros: -very close to the hagia Sofia and Blue mosque. -You have a beautiful view of the blue mosque from the terrace, I can imagine it would be beautiful to sit there and eat breakfast in the summer. -clean towels and bedding -The house keeping were super friendly and ready to help and front of house were really welcoming too. -Close to tram and metro lines -24 hour shop literally 1 minute walk - front of house are present 24 hours a day Cons: - we were on the ground floor and it was quite noisy at night when some guests had come back from nights out - quite noisy from traffic in the morning as the hotel is situated on a street - very small room - small shower area - fridge did not work - breakfast was bare minimum so don’t expect much (no bread just baguettes sliced up to toast and eat as you please, standard salads and cereal) If I was on a budget, I would book this hotel again for the sheer fact that it’s close to everywhere we needed to go and we didn’t spend much time at the hotel at all. For £30 a night it was a bargain!
