Beautiful setting (lush tropicals greens with seaview), ideal location between beaches and town (all walking distance) great staff, amazing experiences (surf, boat…) & delicious food. Home away from home! Would recommend this place 100%.

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff, and gorgeous property. The restaurant was delicious and happily accommodated our dietary restrictions. Two of Itacare’s beautiful beaches are a 5-10 minute walk away, and the town also is an easy 5 minute walk from the hotel. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy Bahia! We loved our week-long stay at Barracuda and highly recommend it.

Best hotel in Itacare. The villas are absolutely wonderful with some of the best views I’ve ever seen. The staff is also incredibly friendly and I can’t think of a single bad experience during my stay. I would highly recommend getting a massage here as well, it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had.

Excellent hotel, one of (and perhaps THE) best small hotels of the world. Definitely the best we have stayed in Brazil. Rooms and hotel are very comfortable with great views of the ocean. Design is very sleek and cool (modern Brazilian). Restaurant is TOP QUALITY, amazing dishes, drinks, and very fun special nights. During our stay there was a seafood grill night that was 10/10. Most importantly, the staff has been excellently trained and is very courteous and attentive (and fast to meet any requests). Shoutout to Betinho and Paula at the reception and Tati at the bar/restaurant. Last, but certainly not least, the hotel has an extraordinary experiences planning team, that are local to the area and know the best places to take guests. They are invested in guests having a good time and take care of everyone personally. Paulo and Max are the best! Saudades já!

Quite exceptional. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. The view, the room, the food, the staff - perfection. Would highly recommend! Perfect stop off on route from Boipeba to Trancoso. The villas also looked amazing - everything did.

absolutely beautiful rooms with ocean view and wonderful world class service from the staff. the food at the hotel is also truly divine. we had a lot of fun doing some of the experiences (river cruise, surf lessons). a real paradise! not to be missed!

We felt very welcomed! Staff were amazing , caring for all details. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. Beautiful place with a good view of the beach even though there is no direct access to it. Hotel is located close to few beaches and close to the commercial center which is good - you can find several restaurants outside as well

Our stay at the Barracuda Hotel was an absolute delight. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Every detail of the hotel has been thoughtfully designed, from the beautiful spaces to the charming design touches. The culinary experience was outstanding, with amazing fresh food (especially locally caught seafood) and expertly crafted cocktails and mocktails. We also enjoyed the hotel’s boat tour which included a fantastic BBQ featuring freshly caught fish along the coastline. For those interested in water sports, the hotel offers excellent surfing lessons with professional instructors, perfect for both beginners and those looking to improve their skills. It’s abundantly clear how much love and care the owners and team have invested in creating this exceptional experience.
