Stayed here for four nights in early March for a family birthday celebration. Had a very comfortable experience in room seven. They’ve done a nice job with their renovations. It’s on a very busy road, but they provided a sound machine to block out the car noise, which was very thoughtful. Our room was a suite and included an extra couch and TV area where we can watch TV, which was nice. And there was a little kitchenette with microwave fridge and sink, which was also a great touch. In the mornings, in the main house, there’s coffee, yogurt and instant oatmeal. They have fire pits that look like they would be super fun if it wasn’t 20° lol Only wish they had a nicer showerhead perhaps one with a detachable head( wand) in our room. It didn’t look like it had been updated. Thank you for a nice stay

Perfect stay! The room was attractive, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the complimentary firewood and smores fixings on New Years Eve. Breakfast was delicious. I liked the birdfeeder situated right outside our window. Will stay here again next time we're in Ithaca.

The Grayhaven Motel is the perfect place to stay and get away. It may seem counter intuitive to book a motel less than 20 miles away from home in the middle of this super busy time of year but it is the perfect place to recharge. I sat next to the fireplace in the cozy guest lounge and watched the Friday night Christmas movie while sipping cider and snacking on roasted pumpkin seeds. It is such a friendly and comfortable place to visit.

Quaint older style motel,room and baths all updated,nice lounge in main building with fireplace .Owners are very responsive to communication and guest needs .Location is close to town .I would recommend to all,asI will also stay here again when I the area.

Five star experience. Everything from booking to check in, and check out, staff was extremely courteous room was very clean, and a really great local experience! My first visit to the area was over-the-top! Thank you so much for the hospitality and thank you for being awesome!

This was a long planned trip for 3 friends celebrating a milestone birthday. We loved the authentic vintage feel of the place. Very helpful and friendly staff. Delicious coffee and comfy rooms. Loved the outdoor fire pits and some rooms had a nice portable record player and a variety of vintage records to play. As an avid birder the marshland, forests and well kept trails out back were a real treat! Highly recommend.

Where to begin? I just don't have enough adjectives to describe the wonderful experience we had at the Grayhaven Motel. From check in to check out, everything was just perfect. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed having our morning coffee and watching the birds in the garden area just off the main house. We stayed in carriage house room 8 and could not have hoped for more! From the firewood waiting outside our door, to the s'mores kit waiting in our kitchen area, not to mention the record player and great vinyl albums which we definitely took time to enjoy while we were in our room. Alexis and Mark are both charming, welcoming hosts and provided us with some great recommendations for eating, drinking and things to do around town. The Grayhaven Motel will be our #1 choice should we return to Ithaca.
