Mori No Izumi

The structure seems to be a legacy of the bubble era. The luxurious layout allows you to move between the main building and each building via pedestrians. It's reminiscent of the 5-star hotels of Phuket and Bali of the past. The all-inclusive plan also feels like good value. Unfortunately, however, maintenance of the interior and exterior has not kept up, and various parts are badly deteriorated. The bathhouse is also made of good granite, so it should be polished properly. The exterior walls are so black that you want to use a Karcher cleaner. I wish it was a little cleaner.

To be honest, the service here is really not up to par for the price. The front desk acted stupid. If we hadn't negotiated repeatedly, we would have had to drag our children and luggage to the third-floor guest rooms where there was no elevator through an outdoor passage. And no one came to help us the next day, so we had to carry the luggage by ourselves. Except for one handsome old man who was polite and courteous, the customer service staff in the restaurant were not flexible enough. In short, this was the hotel with the worst value for money during our nine-day stay in Japan.

There is a free shuttle from Kawana Station, which was very helpful. Reservations are required. It is about a 12-minute drive from the station, and it is in the mountains. The atmosphere inside the building was very nice and relaxing. The staff were also very kind. At dinner, we had an hour of all-you-can-drink and the Shizuoka beer was delicious. All the food was also delicious. It was a very enjoyable trip. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Very clean, good service in Nepal and Vietnam hotel, you will understand after staying one night.

The only disadvantage of this hotel is that it is in a remote location. There is no convenience store nearby. You have to walk 2km to find a convenience store. However, it is highly recommended if you are traveling by car. You must make a reservation for the hotel restaurant in advance. There is no way to make a last-minute reservation.
