An average decent accommodation in a run down neighborhood. Hotel royal paris is all but Royal. Its located right at the border of ivery-sur-seine and Vitry-sur-seine. There are some abandoned and commercial buildings nearby which gives the whole place a unpleasant atmosphere. Although main Ivery-sur-seine seems to be a nice bustling place, this hotel is a bit far from that pleasant parisian area. It is more closer to Vitry-sur-seine which seems more like a crime infected, graffiti laden neighborhood. If you are new to the area, you would like to avoid this particular part of the city. The nearest Metro station is 15 min walk and falls in the Vitry area. Ivery-sur- seine Metro stop is 25 min walk and runs though some abandoned part of the town. Overall, an overnight stay may be ok but I would avoid this part if the city if visiting for vacation.

Overall the quality of the hotel was good for a budget hotel. The room was clean and was cleaned everyday and the staff were pleasant and lovely. The transport connections were in my opinion good only one bus to metro stations close by such as quai de la gare or Bibliothèque François-Mitterrand which took you to Paris and all the attraction in Paris. The transport in Paris is very good and easy to use even if it’s your first time in Paris. Also there was a Lidl near by a 5 minute walk away which was very useful during my stay in getting essentials and food. Also a lot of food restaurants near by which was also useful. However, the walls are not sound proof so you can hear people walking in the corridors and talking. Also above me especially on the first night there was a lot of banging but stopped by 11pm. This is a very good hotel to book when on a budget

This hotel should be avoided if you want to go to Paris, it is in a non tourist part of the city with no tourist friendly restaurants or bars. The nearest train station (not metro) is a 10 minute walk away and the trip to the city is 40 minutes. The hotel lobby and reception area is nice however that is where it ends. Our room stank of smoke and was in dire need of an overhaul. During our stay the lift was broken and we had to use the stairs which were filthy dirty for the time we were there. Given the location and disrepair of the room we only stayed one night and moved hotels to the Montparnasse region of the city which is a great location with superb metro links to anywhere in the city.

It’s ok, a bit dated, breakfast adequate, but the location means that you’re going to spend a lot of money on taxis. I’d use the taxi money to stay in a better hotel in central paris. Tye deco is a bit gaudy, the bedrooms are ok, big enough, staff are polite.

I stayed at this hotel with my two children Sunday 13th august 2023. Thank god it was for only one night . The room smelt of damp but I was willing to over that as just for one night , but the shower did not work. It didn’t run any water at all out of the hot tap in the shower and when I asked reception why , the rude man simply said the whole hotel had a problem and was waiting to be fixed and that it wasn’t his problem ! Then he refused to speak to me and looked away . I’m a single mum travelling with two small children and We couldn’t shower whilst at this hotel . They shouldn’t rent these rooms out without basic facilities like hot running water !

Hotel to absolutely avoid!!! We paid for a suite... As soon as we arrived (minimalist welcome without any information about the hotel) we were given the keys to a room but to our surprise it was a triple room. So since the price is not the same we decide to ask for the suite we had paid for. At reception they try to explain to us or would I rather say “talk” that it’s the same one or the other but that they were still going to give us the one we saw in “the photos” (i.e. the sequel) since when has it been the same?? still happy that it's NOT the same as long as the price is not the same.. From there we settle in and go to a concert in the evening and coming back at around 2am we go to bed in the suite " room 707” and there!!! we see lots of bed bugs of all sizes. so it wasn't yesterday!!!! Scandalized we go down to see the reception and they give us 2 double rooms (because yes the receptionist was wrong when we went to warn of the situation and gave us a double room for 3). Rooms with nauseating odors, (floor 3 and 7) clogged sink, and not great. Like the entire hotel which has absolutely not maintained, sockets, carpet, wall, shower, broken toilet bowl, suspicious stains.... In short, we all took a shower in fear of having bedbugs on us and had to look at all our belongings, our bags, etc. one by one. after all that we decide to change our train tickets earlier and leave at 4 a.m. from the establishment we no longer trust. According to the receptionist, the hotel had to call us back during the day for a refund because it really spoiled our stay. Before leaving the receptionist took the photos we had taken of the room to prove the presence of bedbugs. 5 days later, No news…. We decide to relaunch them and be amazed!!! We are told that there is nothing at all, that they checked, that there was nothing and that we even disturbed them!!! But I'm dreaming! No compensation! Bad faith! Fabulousness on our account!? But how do we treat customers!? Run away !!! Really flee this hotel, it will save you from cold sweats and money thrown into the air!!! In short, fortunately we have photos of the room with the bedbugs, which we will distribute… In short, good luck to those who will go to this hotel.

we had an excellent stay, all the staff were very friendly and the breakfast was excellent, easy to get to the center of Paris, with many restaurants nearby. I really recommend this hotel in terms of quality-price ratio.

I booked my room on booking.com....and if I had seen the reviews here I would have canceled...and I would have been very wrong!!! Obviously the problem of bedbugs has been resolved and believe me when I arrived with a lot of knowledge I looked around the room...sheet...box spring etc. Everything is impeccable The staff takes great care, both for the breakfast only for the service (I asked for an extra pillow because they are a little low... The bedding is good The breakfast is very varied... croissants, apple turnovers, marbled, cheeses, eggs from the hams, yogurts, fruit salad, fresh fruit etc. Really, I have nothing to complain about and it is an address that I would recommend
