It seems to be a family-run business, and everyone is very kind. The owner carried our luggage up and down the stairs for us. Although there is a partition between the toilet and the shower, there is no partition between the floor, so the toilet floor gets soaked after a shower. The shower doesn't work well. When you go out, don't forget to ask for the pin number at the hotel entrance (it is separate from the room key). There are many cheap restaurants nearby, so we didn't have any trouble finding food, but be careful as they close around 8pm. (I was surprised that the supermarket was also early.)

The hotel is close to the train station, so if you are arriving in Izmir by train, it is just a 10 minute walk. The hotel is also not far from the harbor and the main shopping street of Izmir. The staff inside are very accommodating and friendly. The facilities are very clean. The walls are very thin and you can hear all of the movement of the other guests. The WiFi connection was not very reliable, and we quickly ran out of hot water trying to shower back-to-back. The street the hotel is located on is a bit dark at night.
