The onsen ryokan is located well and filled with cultural heritage. The outdoor onsen view is very nice and peaceful. The staff are friendly. room is clean. the only thing need to improve is the food. I would say the food is middle level, can't match the great view and historical role of the ryokan.

I really like this secret hot spring in Japan, especially the open-air bath. The Katsura River rushes in front of me when I soak in the hot spring, which is a perfect combination of man and nature!
