I was really satisfied with my stay here, the reputation and high rating is well-deserved. There is a very nice common area for relaxing, eating or drinking, a communal fridge which is very handy in a hot place, and tea and coffee-making facilities. The location is pretty good - realistically a tuktuk is required to get to the centre and sights, but they are cheap, easily found on the PickMe app or the friendly owners can help you organise one. The room is large and comfortable. The bathroom was decent with hot water. I was in a room at the rear of the house which actually backs on to the trainline - this didn't bother me at all because they arent that frequent, I am not a light sleeper and I like the train sounds. But if you are a light sleeper or travelling with kids, I would recommend requesting a room at the front of the house.

St ayed 3 nights at D'Villa guest house during my first trip to Jaffna last week December 2024. Beside of A9 main road this location networks with main attractions in Jaffna. Hospitality by Mr.Dilan owner of this property was remarkable and made us homely feeling. He is fluent in both Sinhala & English and always available to help you! Rooms are in upstairs and Dilan,wife Hilda and 2 kids live in the ground floor and genuinely help us in our needs. Also they provided good breakfast for reasonable rates on our demand. Rooms and bathrooms are comfortable /super clean / AC & Hot water available. Recommended for family Travellers to stay at this place. Worth for money!

This place is wonderful. Me, my wife and two of my friends stayed for two nights. The atmosphere is fantastic. Their free and unlimited tea/coffee service was exceptional. It is a creative idea for all other hotels. It feels like home with maximum safety assured. Their hospitality is incredible. Would one hundred percent recommend this place for both local and foreign travelers.

Abbiamo soggiornato alcune notti in questa guest house a Jaffna e ci siamo trovati bene. Le cose che abbiamo apprezzato di più sono state la terrazza e i tavoli a disposizione degli ospiti, così come il boccione dell'acqua potabile e il frigo (assolutamente necessari dato il caldo che c'è!). Il padrone di casa è molto gentile e può fornire tutte le informazioni utili agli ospiti. Alcune stanze sono perfette, altre un po' vecchiotte ma il wifi funziona benissimo. Si trova in una via laterale e tranquilla di kandy Road, non centrale, per cui per arrivare in città e ai principali luoghi di interesse è necessario fermare i tuktuk che passano sulla strada principale, o prendere l'autobus o affittare un mezzo. La ferrovia, sebbene vicina non dà assolutamente fastidio: i treni sono molto pochi.

We zijn hier 2 nachten geweest. Prima guesthouse met nette kamers met eigen badkamer, goede airco. Beheerder super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Leuke gezamenlijke ruimte om te gebruiken voor ontbijt of andere reizigers te ontmoeten. Keuken om gebruik van te maken. Leuke sfeer.
