Excellent property, wonderful food. But service is really poor. The resort is very quaint, unassuming. However the rooms are luxurious with the heated pool really amping up the charm. The food is outstanding in its freshness and the taste. However, the service is really poor! No reply to emails (I wrote thrice). Was my kids bday and they said that a cake will be sent, but it never came. The price point for such service is truly not ok. I hope they can improve their service standards and just have better acknowledgement of guests’ requests. I must say that the room service in general was prompt.

Very good location, peaceful and pleasant. Rooms are also well maintained clean and cozy. Service staff good and polite. Taste of food is delicious. Amenities are well planned. All my personal pre-requirements were well taken care off, thanks for this.

This is truly one of the most amazing hotels we have ever stayed at in India. In terms of overall experience, it stands right alongside the TAJ Palace in Varanasi, the TAJ Palace in Mumbai, and the Oberoi in Udaipur. It was simply wonderful in every possible way. The service was beyond anything we expected. The staff were incredibly attentive and genuinely kind: they took care of every request, always looked after us, brought us food and snacks, checked in on how we were feeling, surprised us with little thoughtful gestures, and filled each day with warmth. And honestly, it’s difficult to single out anyone in particular — the entire team was so exceptional. I can’t name “the best waiter” or “the best assistant” or “the best housekeeper,” because every person we interacted with was equally caring, thoughtful, and wonderfully professional. That was a true revelation for us. We are especially grateful for all the activities they organized: we had a private puppet show, we painted, and even the chef arranged a special ravioli-making masterclass just for us. Our child was absolutely delighted — it became one of the sweetest memories of our trip. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere calm and peaceful, the number of guests pleasantly small, and we felt genuine care at every step. We were absolutely thrilled. Without a doubt, this is a 10 out of 10.
