Fabulous holiday to rest and recuperate. The beaches were beautiful sand. The staff were friendly. Our room had a view of the beach and beautiful blue sea. The food was good - especially the local fish. Yoga is on offer and Zac was a fabulous teacher.

This is one devine resort on Jambiani beach. A very romantic setting along long stretches of quiet white sandy beaches. The accommodation is of high standard with comfort clearly as first priority. There is ample beach beds, loungers and chairs to never feel crowded or without space. Including various swimming pools! The food is exceptional! We really loved staying here. For once a geniune 4 star resort living up to the excellence of expectation.

Lovely retreat on the east side of Zanzibar. Indian Ocean at your feet. Private cottages with all the amenities you long for. Four different swimming pools, from Oceanside to Relax pool. Bars and restaurant on the premises with very professional and friendly staff.

Everything was great, very friendly staff, we got a great welcoming, the staff and locals always greet one with Jambo, caribu, welcome. Great breakfast, lots of choices, dinner was also delicious and the restaurant was right at the beach. Maybe the beach area could be better cared for eg. removing the seagrass from the beach, we also saw lots of plastic which the beach staff didn’t pick up, we removed lots of plastic and pieces of broken glass ourselves. The sea was really warm -at least 33 degrees Celsius,-but unfortunately contains lots of seaweed. The sea tides cause the sea to be pulled back every day so its low tide til around 2-3pm. At 6pm the tide is also low, so not much time for sea swimming. The pools watertemperature was too cool for me. Our room was very beautiful, with a double rainshower, (good water pressure) with wash basin, walk in closet , separate toilet with wash basin and also a private outdoor shower. Very clean, gorgeous deco! Would definitely recommend this hotel, lots of space and not overcrowded .

In two words: beautiful and peaceful!! The resort is on the beach, so unlimited access to the beautiful pools and white sand beaches. The crew was incredibly sweet and fun and the rooms were just as comfortable and pretty as the rest of the resort. Will definitely come back!!!

Beautiful Beautiful Property! The people couldn’t be nicer! Our room was on the waterfront and everyday we woke up to a beautiful view. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated. Food at their restaurant was delicious and very efficient. Definitely plan on staying here.

My boyfriend and I stayed at Sharazad Oasis Retreat and we can say it is the real oasis! Incredible place right in front of one of the most beautiful beaches in Zanzibar, where we highly recommend staying. The villa has an incredible environment surrounded by nature, which gives us a real feeling of peace, tranquility and good energy. The villa where we stayed is wonderful, ideal for couples, very romantic. Waking up in this villa right in front of the sea was simply one of the best moments of our vacation in Zanzibar. Sharazad Oasis Retreat also has several living areas, from two wonderful swimming pools, very comfortable beds and chairs where we can enjoy the sun and the sea. We really liked the fact that there was a small area in front of the sea, where we could do a workout, where they provide some wooden weights. Without a doubt for us it was a very positive aspect. Having breakfast in front of the sea, with your feet firmly in the sand, is also very good. They have several tasty options and everything is made fresh. Dinner in the gazebo was a unique experience and made our stay even more romantic. We loved it!!! We were very well received by everyone, who always treated us very attentively. Thanks!!

I stayed at Sharazad with my girlfriend and it was simply amazing. We loved the hotel, we had an excellent reception upon arrival, the fresh towel is a detail that makes the difference. The space in general is very special, from the natural beauty, to the hotel beach, swimming pools, rooms and restaurant, everything was impeccable. If you come to Zanzibar, I definitely recommend this hotel.
