The rooms were spacious, elegantly furnished, and impeccably clean. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive, always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Not forgetting the stunning sea views with a clean and well maintained pool

We arrived at noon time. Our Room was old, dirty and poor. We try to change Hotel, but the owner don't agree to give us money back. We anyway cancel our reservation by *********** and loose 50 % of US$ 980 but even if we would loose 100 % we will not stay there. This hotel is simply worse! Please see the picture. The hotel dont serve any alcohol (thr owner is muslim) and you can just buy big bottrls if wather, Cocke and simikar. Wr live the Hotel at the same day. THE PICTURE ON THE WEBSITE AND *********** HOTELD.COM ETC. ARE FAKE! Maybe this picture are 20 years old :-)

The room didn’t look anything like in the pictures. Dirty walls, window covered by a cloth and super tiny. Mosquito net doesn’t close completely, pointless. Bathroom smells and Isn’t very clean. No room to put anything in the bathroom (toothbrushes / hair brush etc) and the room is too small to even open a suitcase and leave it open. Next to our outside door, was the sofa where the staff gathered to check/charge their phones and hang out, very unprofessional. We didn’t have WiFi coverage inside our room and needed to go out and sit in that same sofa to use the WiFi. Very unhappy in that room. First evening, we went to the restaurant for dinner, had to wait for over 2,5 hours to get our food (grilled chicken and grilled prawns) Not kidding, we ordered at 19h20 at got our food at 21h55. Pictures of the food are attached. We paid 10 dollars each for a bowl of rice and 1 chicken drumstick/ 4 prawns. Really sad and expensive meal. Left the table hungry. After a first night without any sleep because of the non-working airconditioning, we complained 4 times (including to someone we believe was from management) and they showed us another room. What a difference! Where the first room could barely function as a broom closet, this one was big enough, nice bathroom and sufficient space to move around with 2 people. It even had proper windows! After a final check of the airconditioning (it was working, hooray!), we packed our bags and moved to the other room. It even had proper WiFi coverage. We would like to thank the hotel team for the service of relocating us to a different room. We were able to enjoy our second night. Second evening, we took a short walk (5 min to the right on the beach) to the nearby Passion Boutique hotel for dinner where we had a really nice evening. Suggestion for the hotel management, switch the first room to storage space and maybe put the sofa in that room for the staff to hang out. Not worth the money even though it’s a cheap room. We stayed in other hotels in Zanzibar with comparable prices and the rooms were of significant better quality and much more worth the money. Wanted to take pictures on the swing on the beach, no trace of those except for a swing in the middle of the garden.

We stayed at IFA for the first 4 days after arriving to Tanzania to get acclimatized and to unwind. It's a great place for that: Chill by the pool, walk along the beach, do not much. It is right by the beach, which is great. If you're after more action, this might be the wrong place. There's not that much to do. Only thing everyone recommends is kitesurfing - unfortunately for us the wind wasn't good on the days we stayed here. We booked via bedandtree.com and hence got a good deal (plus a tree was planted in our honor, which feels good). It's not outstanding value for money, but it's not a rip off either, hence the 4 stars: It's (very) good, and does what it's supposed to do, yet not exceptional. If you like, go walk in Jambiani or also in Paje (about 1 hour's walk along the beach), and make sure to walk around the villages itself to get a real glimpse at local Tanzanian life.

+The resort has plenty of outside area to chill +Located right next to the beach, but the beach itself is nothing special THAT’S IT for the good part -I believe we had a Standard room, which was small in size, and had a small window with metal bars on it. -All the furniture/amenities in the room were VERY OLD, and NEED a THOROUGH CLEANING -The bathroom had some sort of chemical smell Not worth the price. Have been in Zanzibar for a week, and stayed in different hotels/homestays, and by far this has been the worst for the price/value ratio.

You can literally have your breakfast at the beach! They have a Pvt access and it's a beautiful view. It is a well kep and well maintained property. We are vegetarians and we're given a feast during the breakfast. Apart from egg options, the stir fried vegetables and chapati was yum.

I've been three times. In many ways a good place. -Still the restaurant doesn't get enough material, so everything is often over but there is business. The sheets and pillows are now in order, at least in my room. The swimming pool is ok but again I had to point out that even the top of the pool has to be wiped daily otherwise it will get green, maybe the pool people get a bad salary, people with Indian glasses are sometimes too economical. -masai call a place to stay, a house where no one is at work. I think too many people just bother, less, better is best. Noisy room neighbors keep between commands, a night of peace for the elderly, though when it should start. I have a loud speaker that I can use to communicate with hard-hearted people. As the mother of my children said, I hear thee, and thou hearest me. Cleaning has improved since last year but on a longing, the cleaners are on call in the big hall from morning and make noise and play music, meaning the $ 70 room doesn’t fall asleep for long mornings. Breakfast is great even though there is no bacon and no sausage but bring your snack to the table and get as much as you can eat. The staff is great but fit the room rates exactly. Good place
