Club Wyndham Newport Overlook

The staff was very friendly and very accommodating to our request. It was a nice time to visit Newport that had so many beautiful things to do during the holidays. The mansion tour was fun and the convenience to everything was great.

We're currently staying at this quiet coastal resort. Our gorgeous waterfront duplex unit boasts two bedrooms, two and a half baths, fully stocked kitchen, a handy washer/dryer, and even a grill on the front lawn. Plus, we've got our very own parking spot! And if we feel like exploring, downtown Newport is just a hop across the Pell Bridge. This place is clean, spacious, and offers stunning water views. A week before our arrival, we got a call from the resort letting us know that check-in is now at the Bay Voyage Inn just down the street. The front desk team—Isabelle, Zachery, John, and Ruth—couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. Isabelle, in particular, seems to have a knack for resolving any issues and anticipating guests' needs to ensure we have a great stay. This trip is turning out to be the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure, with top-notch service to boot.

Some of the units are nice. We were not so lucky. The unit we were given had mold issues! Mice issues! Safety issues! And the unit we were provided was NOT what was reserved! The issues mold, mice, no egress are serious and completely ignored. I would be very very cautious when booking!!

Outdated units. Beautiful views from the unit we stayed in. Close to Newport but the toll Bridge gets expensive quickly.

beware of the rules and regs of this property 250.00 security deposit they dont tell you it can take up to seven days for your credit card to be refunded. they also wanted to charge me an additional hold of 150.00 which i was NOT made aware of this one ahead of time but they waived it because i was none too happy. check in is at 4 pm dont even try for earlier. the office on the premises was closed so we had to check in at a different sister property down the road. If you can get past all this it's a great place for a rest. we were fortunate to get a ocean front unit which you are not guaranteed by the way. the unit was great but the kitchen needs an overhall. The linens and beds were great. the last stretch of road is horrific but not owned by the property.

The location was a bit hard to find, but once there it was great. The main office is at a different location. The staff is very accommodating, and they moved us to a more suitable unit for my elderly mother. The unit was clean; the dishwasher was not properly installed and was loose. Jamestown is a nice little community. Newport is closeby for the tourist activities.
