Beautiful historic homestead with elegant rooms and high ceilings, in an excellent location. Very well presented. Four very large bedrooms and a huge kitchen.An abundance of quality bedding, towels and supplies. Plenty of room for five. James Town is a very friendly and attractive town.

Such a beautiful house with an incredible garden. We got ready for our wedding there and there was plenty of room for us all, and it provided an amazing backdrop for some photos. Jane replied to messages really quickly and was helpful and accommodating when I left something behind and needed to come back to pick it up. Would definitely stay with a big group again!

Large home in a beautiful setting 4 large bedrooms 2 bathrooms with showers and baths Excellent for a group of friends or a family gathering Jane the host was extremely accommodating as we were Heysen walkers and things did not go to plan with our group numbers Thank you for a very comfortable stay

We hosted our wedding reception on the back grass lawn area, which has great electricity access. Kitchen facilities were used by the caterer. Toilet accessible from verandah, very easy for guests. House is huge! Master bedroom plays host to a ensuite amongst the wardrobes. Plenty of PowerPoint's for additional path lighting outdoors.

This property is gorgeous. Each bedroom is lovingly fitted out with big four-poster beds. The kitchen is huge with room to prepare a banquet. The living room is comfortable and with the combustion heater it was a lovely space to be on cold evenings. The grounds are lovely, and Jane, the manager was helpful and always available when needed. Definitely would love to stay here again and better explore the region.

A wonderful house with 4 poster beds ,large garden and formal dining and lounge room with a piano. It deserves 6 stars. We look forward to revisiting. Centrally located between the Clare Valley Wine District and the Flinders Ranges.

This home is spacious and beautiful, everything is provided. We loved staying here and would again. The fireplace heated the entire huge house and there are laundry facilities. The ducted air conditioner was a little tricky to work out and there are no rails in bathrooms to support my elderly Aunty.
