The hotel Taj Vivanta is one of the best hotels in jammu . The services, cleanliness and the food quality is really nice .The service of Mr. Bhajan Lal was very nice .He spoke softly with customer. And his services is really admirable . As per my view , this hotel is excellent

Taj jammu really needs a overhaul in terms of management and staffs. The motivation level of the staff is really low.. thats what i felt. From Reception to house keeping to Restaurant staffs, no one seemed to care about the guest. The Restaurant service was so pathetic that i questioned again my decision to stay there. The managers at the restaurant was clueless about everything. Dinner buffet spread had only four to five dishes at max...When i asked at the front desk about this whole issues... the answer was simple.. "sir no one stays here more than one day".

The whole arrangement was excellent and such a great experience The whole management staff was Great and serving really good Our family had such a wonderful function and everyone was satisfied with the food. We wanted to spend a A Day Away from Everyday life. Taj is my first choice 😊 Vivanta Jammu is at Prime location, beautiful view of River and Fort from window. Food is very good, service is great! Room was nicely decorated as we had some occasion. Room was also upgraded without any charges and we were allowed to check out late. Overall great experience as always in a Taj Property 😍

Vivanta Jammu enjoys a central location and is a property taken over by the Taj Group. However, it still requires significant improvements to meet the expected Taj standards. The rooms are on the smaller side, and I found the bedding to be too soft for my preference. Infrastructure issues were noticeable—one of the lifts wasn’t working during breakfast hours, and there were visible cracks in the bathroom. The front office staff is helpful but stops short of going the extra mile. For instance, we needed assistance in coordinating a bag pickup, but they were unwilling to liaise with the driver when we ventured into the city. Breakfast had a good vegetarian cook to order spread, but attention to detail was lacking. We noticed spoiled fruits (oranges and bananas) with insects around them. To their credit, the team promptly removed them when we pointed it out. On the positive side, the breakfast and housekeeping staff were warm and friendly. The hotel has easy access to taxis and rickshaws, and a Gurudwara is located nearby. While it has potential, the property still has a long way to go to truly reflect the signature Taj experience.
