Arriving slightly early we received a warm and friendly welcome. Shown to our room and settled in. We had a twin room overlooking the back garden, nicely furnished albeit a little small. The only downside was it was too small to accommodate two chairs so one of us had to sit on the bed when we returned after our evening meal. Both beds were very comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. Tea and coffee making facilities were excellent, as was the jar of shortbread! Breakfast was a feast of delights. Can definitely recommend the yogurt and fruit, followed by full Scottish breakfast topped off with toast and marmalade. Easy walking distance into town if you’re fit and healthy but a struggle ( up a hill) if elderly I would suggest. Easy to find and a lovely home with a great host.
