Hotels in Seongsan llchulbong/Pyoseon-myeon, Jeju

The hotel is strategically located, there are many restaurants nearby and close to Udo Island and Ilchulbongseong Mountain. However, the hotel room lighting is too dim and no shower rack in shower room, which this could be improved further.

Good location with a lot of local restaurants and supermarkets close by. There is a car park inside, and we had no trouble getting a space. There is a 7-11 inside the hotel and also washing machine and dryer facilities.

I booked a standard single room. It felt like the room was a little small, but it was spacious enough to stay for one person. There was everything you needed. I went to Jeju just for a walk, ‘Olle Tracking’. The reason I chose this hotel is because this place was within walking distance of Olle 1, 2, and 3 courses. The other thing is that they had very different kinds of stores, so you didn’t need to go outside for food. This time I finished only the 2nd course, but the wind and bad weather made it hard for me to finish. But even though it was hard for me, I was happy with it. Next time I’m trying to decide to finish 1 and 3 courses, I wish it was good weather at that time.

I arrived at the hotel at night and it was very easy to find. The front desk arranged a sunrise room for me. The room wasn't huge, but I could see Seongsan Ilchulbong Peak right from the balcony in the morning. It rained for several days so I didn't get to see the sunrise, but I can imagine how breathtaking it would be to see the morning sun shining on the peak. The guys at the front desk all spoke pretty good English. I went for the breakfast buffet in the morning; there wasn't a huge variety, but I still got my fill, haha. They didn't have fresh noodles, rice vermicelli, or wontons like you'd find in hotels back home.

It had a pool but that was closed during the hours that I was there as it only opens at 2 in the afternoon and I was out exploring.

We booked a loft room with twin beds upstairs and downstairs. It was very big, nice and clean. It is very close to Seopji, just a ten-minute drive away. The uncle at the front desk didn't speak good English but he still tried to tell us how to use the heater, which was very strong and hot. They also gave us a bowl of instant noodles for free. The only downside is that the mattress is so hard, it feels like sleeping on the floor. Maybe Koreans like to sleep on hard beds.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and there are great restaurants around the hotel too. The convenience of doing laundry at the hotel is was great too. We are a family of four. So this was great! The pool was nice too and close to Sunrise Peak. Highly recommend!

Exceeded expectations, very clean and spacious. The floors in hotels on Jeju Island are spotless, probably because Koreans all wear slippers indoors. It has two bedrooms and a living room, with a kitchen and utensils for self-catering, and a balcony with clothes drying rack. The price is also very affordable, which is really great 👍👍👍👍👍👍

Delivers what it says. Good location and view. Good insulation and heating. Had basic kitchen items for use. Was clean and comfy. Quick check in and checkout. Adequate parking. What can be improved is - Check in staff didn't seem to understand English. When we asked about wifi, he didn't seem to respond in friendly way - something like he doesn't know. Basically they have open wifi but the staff didn't seem courteous or eager to help. We stayed for 2 nights and on 2nd day, we can see staff entered the room, replenished towels. But they didn't care to make the bed or wash mugs. I haven't been anywhere where they enter the room but don't make your bed. Still no issues. Fairly good place to stay, close to main sightseeing areas.
