The location is also in Sabuk, so it is easy to access Gangwon Land and there are many restaurants around.

Perfect
GGuest UserFirefly Redclay Pension was great place to stay. Very quiet, very clean pension. The owners are very kind and helpful. They go out of there way to ensure that your stay and experience is very memorable and relaxing. We had a awesome time there! Clean fresh mountain air, blue skies and the beginning of autumn foliage. We would definitely stay there again and recommend the Firefly Redclay pension.
HHang YuIt is very convenient to take the Purple bus from Seoul to high 1, we got on the bus at Myeongdong 0845 and went to high 1 at about 12:30. Because the check-in time was not reached, the room was still being cleaned up, but the hotel was very good, allowing us to drop our luggage in the room, there was a room at about 2:30.
The room is very clean and the facilities are very new. We live in Mountain CondoA, and it is very convenient to walk to mountain Ski House. There is a convenience store in Block B, which may be sold because of the Lunar New Year? We can only buy some instant noodles, kimchi and other simple foods these days.
The hotel has shuttle bus walking grand hotel , mountain condo , hill condo. when we go, take airport bus directly to Incheon Airport (it seems to only provide 20/12-2/2), get on the bus at 1000, and arrive at Incheon Airport at 1400 on time.
The only room for improvement is the way the staff communicates. Whether the front desk staff or other staff members are basically not very good at English, but some employees can speak a little Mandarin.
SSamantha Chi WingExcellent stay. Better than expected. I was worried that it would be crowded at the lobby/ common areas due to proximity to casino which was not a preference. The lobby of convention hotel is grand, peaceful and modern.
I was also worried that it would be inconvenient to reach the ski slopes however the shuttle buses were frequent and you can get to the slopes quickly. The bus stop drop off point is right outside the ticket office for ski passes
Hotel service was welcoming and superb from check in/out to housekeeping. As foreigners we received discount coupons for ski rental and pass. View from room was nice and loved the cream and shower gel etc. Room service was quick and portions are huge. Also how it was delivered was really good too with the robot.
Overall very good and comfortable stay.
GGuest UserIt was a great room to stay for one night. I found a nice restaurant near the accommodation with my friends and had a delicious meal. The accommodation was also comfortable.
GGuest UserRooms were pleasant, everything functioning nicely. Hotel is comfortable and reasonably well-organised. Around the resort there are places where poor signage and language difficulties may give pause for non-Korean-speaking travellers, but it's nothing that a smartphone and a little persistence can't overcome. Free shuttle buses to the close-by ski hill and two local towns are frequent enough. Staff are kind, considerate and helpful. Food on the mountain is basic but perfectly fine. Unless you are coming for the casino specifically I wouldn't recommend the hotel in general. All facilities require extra charges and are cynically overpriced to rob more money from the punters, whose tinted-window executive cars arrive in droves. The less said about the buffet at the Grand Table the better. There is something very soulless about the High1 resort in general, and the strong corporate vibes give the place an eerie quality. The skiing is not so bad, although experienced riders will get bored after 2 or 3 days, unless a rare snowfall increases the fun. That said, the resort's snow-making abilities are quite impressive. If you are someone who gets irritated by poor piste etiquette, don't come here. At any given time half of the riders will be in the process of falling over, will have already fallen over, or will be chatting sat in the middle of the fairway. Try not to imagine anything in the way of apres-ski. As a solo traveller bored of watching the casino donkeys shift about the hotel, I went searching in the local towns for a bar. It was a depressing failure. I read the resort was intended to bring money to the depressed mining towns of Sabuk and Gohan, but seemingly it has turned these places into a succession of garishly presented empty restaurants and ”Thai massage” joints, the latter being a favourite of the aforementioned tinted-window crowd.
GGuest UserI booked the High Valley Hotel for a conference at High One Resort. The motel was the facility that changed the name to the hotel, and the building was the highest in the neighborhood, so it was easy to find.
Because it's summer, I closed the windows and turned on the air conditioner. There are no mosquitoes in this community. It's cool. I can turn off the air conditioner and open the window to sleep.
But the nets in the bathroom windows are torn, which is better if you repair them.
The boss in the lobby kindly responded.
There was a stream nearby, so it was good to walk in the morning.
GGuest UserIt's adjacent to a commercial area, parking is okay, the room condition is clean, and it's a hotel with the best cost-effectiveness at a low price on weekdays. I remember eating bibimbap for breakfast, and it was a very delicious meal, and it was really convenient not to have to go to a restaurant in the morning. The sound of the stream right next door can be healing, and some people may find it annoying, but I really liked it~~
GGuest UserThis is the closest accommodation to the shuttle bus stop that goes to High1 Resort.
Of course, there is also the advantage of being able to find a room much cheaper than the surrounding area on weekdays or weekends.
It can be said to be the best value for money accommodation in Hammadi, as the cleanliness and amenities are not bad for the price.
I recommend it.
00xTCCGreat stay if you are heading to the resort for snowboarding, hourly shuttle bus to the ski resort however staff only have minimal English so hard to communicate and there isn't kakao taxi so it's very hard to call for a taxi, would suggest staying at the ski resort itself If you want to go to the casino.
YYIHSUANAffordable hotel! My aunt and uncle are very nice people and helped us a lot during our stay. Thank you very much! It takes 4 minutes to walk to the high1 shuttle bus, and there is a restaurant street out the back door, which is very convenient.
The average price for hotels in Jeongseon-gun is AED 477 on weekdays, and AED 550 on weekends (Friday-Saturday).
