Don't go there! Worst place ever! Run down place with dodgy door lock. Got locked out of my room around midnight as I went to the toilet. Master key did not work, owner had to break in through window when he finally arrived in the morning after 9.30 am. There was nobody in the pub overnight and no way I could contact anybody through the night. Because of the delay , my boss is not impressed and has to pay penalties. This is not looking great for my future employment as I am a road pilot and couldn't contact my truck driver, EVERYTHING, phone, keys ... was in my room. By the way..... The advertised Free WIFI does not exist. No tea or coffee making either! Room as basic as can be and reasonable clean, Shower could have been cleaner.

This true blue Aussie country pub is a must-stop if you are travelling nearby. It is small enough that everyone engages you in conversation but rooms have the 11foot ceilings so you feel it is very spacious. Really comfortable rooms and dinner was great! Only downside was not having a tea/coffee station in the room so couldn’t make a cuppa in the morning. It’s a genuine small town pub so not glitzy but really worth a stay!

We were welcomed with a friendly smile with our hostess Tess! She was an absolute delight and very accommodating. She was the only one on a quiet night and cooked our lovely meals as well as ensuring our drinks were topped up. We were all well acquainted by the end of the night! The rooms were spacious and comfortable and warm. Only thing I would mention are the backpackers using the new refurbished bathroom as their kitchen! Defiantly drop into the Royal Mail Hotel on your way through Jerilderie.

Very friendly staff, good bar and dining room but our room (downstairs so paid extra) was tiny and only just adequate. Lacked basic overnight facilities eg hairdryer, shampoo and only enough milk for one cup of tea.
