I had a wonderful stay in Shaxi! I was given a complimentary upgrade to a beautiful suite, which made the experience even more special. The ambiance of the hotel was charming and peaceful. The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating, always making sure I was comfortable. The location is also a big plus—just a short walk from the old town, making it super convenient to explore. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a warm and memorable stay in Shaxi!

Stayed here for 2 nights. It is well-located on the side of the ancient town, allowing us to reach the main sights of Shaxi within 5-10mins walk. Easy with the luggages too if you are arriving in a car which can stop right at the main door. The suite was huge with separate living area, bathroom and had a nice wooden decor. Although it’s already been operating for many years, it felt brand new! Hotel compound itself was beautiful with an airy garden setting. We enjoyed taking breakfasts & afternoon tea at the outdoor benches by the dining hall. Even though it was fully-booked on one of the days, it never felt crowded at all. Staff were courteous, always smiling and happy to offer their services or advice. This is a property one should definitely consider if intending to spend more days in Shaxi & the neighbouring area, so that you could enjoy the hotel itself.
