The hotel is in a great location, just by the Xin'an River, a 2-minute walk away. The staff are very friendly and the service is very good. The hotel also has a message wall, tea brewing around the stove, and handmade tofu buns. The overall environment, hygiene, service, and management are all very good. I will come again next time.

This is my second time staying at your hotel. The scorching summer is the best time to go to Jiande where the temperature is 17°C for a summer vacation. The booked room is right next to the river, and you can see the clear Xin'an River flowing slowly from the room. Sitting in the room and drinking tea, you can watch the beautiful mountains and clear waters, the rolling clouds and the relaxing clouds, which is very pleasant. The room design is full of Jiangnan charm, spacious and bright. The service in the hotel is very pleasant. Fresh fruits are delivered every day. The waiters are always smiling when I see them. Especially the sister He Yuanyuan at the front desk is warm and kind. The service is attentive and meticulous. It makes me feel like I am at home. The hotel is in a good location, and it is also very convenient to go to the riverside to enjoy the cool weather. There are many delicious little restaurants nearby. If you go there, be sure to order the Jiande-style fish head stew in white soup. The hotel has a lot of free parking spaces, suitable for self-driving travel. A very nice and quiet vacation experience.

Stray Clouds Villa is a fantastic place to stay in Jiande, especially for those looking to take a break from city life and enjoy some time in the countryside. The owner of the hotel lives in Singapore, but handles registration for foreigners remotely. The three women who work at the hotel are lovely and make sure that each guest is treated with the same generous hospitality. My only suggestion for foreign passport holders looking to stay here is to establish contact with the owner in advance by adding his WeChat (same as the hotel's phone number) to share documents required for registration at the local police station including passport information page, current Chinese visa, most recent entry stamp, residential address in China, and phone number. This will decrease the time needed for check-in. The hotel itself was spectacularly clean and the rooms were spacious. The hotel is just minutes away by foot from Tuanyun Pagoda (抟云塔) and Wenchang Pavilion (文昌阁), two of Xinye Ancient's Village (新叶古村) most recognizable landmarks. The nearest bullet train station in Lanxi, Jinhua is currently closed, so it's best to take a bullet train into Jiande Station (建德站) followed by a 70-90 minute Didi directly to the hotel. Highly recommended for a weekend getaway!

The booked room type is gone, the hotel has not refused the order, and the free river view room is also applied for. The environment is really good and comfortable. I will choose next time I come to Jiande.

Although the hotel is an old hotel, the supporting facilities are quite complete. There are chess and card rooms, vending machines, breakfast rooms, lobby and boxes. The sanitation is also relatively clean. The back of the hotel is 5 minutes walk from the Xin'an River. It is cool to go out to the river at night.

The space is very large, the bed is 1.8 meters, the quilt is very comfortable and soft to sleep, the business trip is already tired, good sleep can also give us a good mental state, we live on the 11th floor, looking out the window is full of beautiful scenery, it is recommended hotel, will stay next time!
