The hotel is absolutely charming, I loved it there. My room was in between the beautiful courtyard and a lively square where elderly people meet to play games and music. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The walk to the historical part of the city is extremely nice with small streets full of restaurants, massage places and shops. That part of the city has a really good feeling. I strongly recommend to all travelers :)

One of the best hotels I have been so far in China! Perfect location, only 10 minutes walking from the North Gate of the old city and the Zitao street! The staff was also very friendly and helped me with a lot of suggestions on what to see/where to eat in the city...and the whole building in a 'traditional Chinese style' (though completely new!) is just amazing for anyone who would love to get a glimpse of 'old China' but with the comforts of the 21st century 😎😉

My experience in this beautiful hotel went beyond my expectations. The building itself is gorgeous with fine decorations and great amenities and the staff, including the owner were friendly and welcoming. 100% recommended without any hesitation

This place is the top!!! We absolutely loved it. The rooms, the lovely courtyard, the stairs, the elevator, the entrance, everything is very clean with an accurate attention to detail. We booked two rooms and all was perfect. The owner, a very gentle man, helped us out with everything. We used the translator to communicate and all worked well. Jianshui is a hidden gem. We recommend to stay at least three nights and four full days. Enjoy your stay the same as we did 🤗

The whole four-story building is antique, with Yongzhen Cultural Plaza at the back door. It is more than 500 meters away from the largest farmers' market, Hanjia Farmers' Market. The owner is very warm and thoughtful, there is free parking, a shared kitchen and restaurant, and it feels very comfortable to be at home. I will come again next time.
