Excellent facilities. Modern, good beds, very good power shower, particularly good after a trek. Ideal place to start a trek, also not far from the town centre Fantastic restaurant. Tasty food with good vegetarian options, excellent drinks. Very good service

Great Hotel! Our experience started with the warm and friendly reception we received at the front desk. The hotel maintains high cleanliness standards and is very modern. The presence of a beautiful outdoor patio provides the perfect setting to enjoy the delicious food from the restaurant. We loved the local beer. The hotel provides excellent spa services. The Thai massage was exceptional. We are so happy with our stay at Hotel Restart.

Modern hotel 500 metres from old town. Friendly staff and all areas spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds. Lots of variety at breakfast. Water and coffee in the bedroom. Hot showers. We didn’t use the spa but facilities look good. Food in restaurant looked good when we called in for a nightcap

Lovely modern hotel, I had a big room and a nice bathroom with argan oil toiletries and fluffy towels. There was a kettle and teabags in the room and bottles of water. The minibar was well stocked and I had to restrain myself. Breakfast was a huge buffet. On the minus side sound insulation was poor and I had noisy neighbours. I was offered a choice of food ( I had half board) and it was a bit bland. Cream of rabbit soup, chicken supreme and asparagus risotto, vanilla ice cream. A small beer was 95kr. The historic centre was 10 minutes walk.

Absolutely flawless service, room and breakfast. Friendly helpful reception staff - services included being given a lift to the bus station by the owner wh happened to be at the desk as we checked out. We did not want to leave. Best hotel by miles of all those we stayed in. Amazing breakfast - so many choices and superb quality. Bedroom is modern, stylish and spacious with desk and seating area, fully stocked mini bar. Duvets and bedlinen beautiful quality. Huge bed and cushions so comfortable. Complimentary tea and coffee making facility and free bottled water. The huge bathroom has gorgeous free toiletries and power shower with rainforest head. Hairdryer and heated towel rail. On the ground floor is the lovely breakfast room and restaurant. Outdoor bar and inside lounge. Cannot recommend highly enough whether here for business or a holiday. Parking is available right outside and it is just a ten min walk to the beautiful old town square. Stay here for visiting all the sights of Czech bohemian. We are a well travelled London couple with high standards who have worked in many countries. We would award this hotel more than 5 stars if we could. All amenities but in a quiet location. I forgot to mention that rooms have excellent quiet air con and wide screen tv.

Hospitality at its best! Impeccable service, welcoming and helpful staff, lovely & spotless rooms furnished in style, tasty & varied food (they also cater for vegan & gluten-free diets) and attention to detail! The owner is involved in the day to day duties, which in my mind, says a lot about the ethos of the business. Lastly, the hotel staff kindly gave a lift to my partner to the bus station,which was a lovely gesture. You can't fault this place on anything and I can't recommend it enough! Thank you for a memorable stay and we shall be back.

When we arrived at Hotel ReStart after four days walking in the Bohemian Paradise, we thought we'd won the lottery. This is a great hotel by any standard. Young, friendly, English-speaking staff (not always the case in more rural parts of the country); large, super-comfortable room; great shower. The hotel is within walking distance of the charming historic center, although to be honest there isn't much of interest around the square. The hotel's restaurant, where we had dinner, is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is fresh and varied. A member of the staff drove us to the bus station for our return to Prague and wouldn't let us tip him: it was all part of the service culture of the hotel. If you find yourself in Jicin, we highly recommend Hotel ReStart.
