Family-friendly Hotels in Jinghong

Great location with lots of food options in the neighborhood a short drive away or a bike ride away. The resort area comprises of Pullman, crowne plaza and Wanda. So if u prefer to eat in one of these hotels that’s an option but much more pocket friendly options in the area too outside of this hotel area but close by. Rooms are comfortable. An outdoor and indoor pool are available but the indoor one water is too cold and needs to be regulated. The steam and sauna are not always on so if u are the first one to use like in my case then u have to wait till it heats up and gets fully operational. Steam worked great but sauna not so good. Jacuzzi was busted and non-operational. Don’t forget to get ur swimming caps as even though outdoor pool one is not required but if it rains u must go to the indoor one as per hotel rules and for indoor u need a cap and to buy one at site is very expensive. The check in desk person Jacky Chen was very nice and helpful. Smooth check in process. Eva he at the breakfast buffet was also very kind and friendly and all the staff generally were good. However the staff at the front entrance gate need to be trained better to talk to customers like they normally should to customers but I felt they were very rude although it was not there intention to be rude. They just need better training. Parking is not allowed around the entrance circle but many people are allowed to park and is not consistent. If they allow one car to park then they should allow all. Local cars should not get preference. Even the help staff at the breakfast should be trained a little more to serve customers as it was quite chaotic. Overall a pleasant stay but some improvements required as highlighted above.

Nice and very big hotel but mostly for Chinese tourist and families. Difficult to deal if you are a non chinese speaker as only a few employees speaks good english and very few signs and documents are in english. However we had a nice stay. Garden, rooms and food are quite good.

The last stop in Banna was arranged at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which was the most correct arrangement for this trip. The room was clean, the bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas, and the balcony view was great, which made the body and mind relax. I made an appointment for hotel service in advance, and saw two elephants on the bed as soon as I entered the room. The hotel swimming pool was also very clean, and the bubble party in the afternoon was also loved by the children. The intangible cultural heritage handicrafts in the hotel lobby were also worth experiencing... I made an appointment with Anman for travel photography. The clothes and accessories were very beautiful. The hotel gave us simple photos, and if we wanted something more exquisite, there was an upgraded service. Children could wear accessories alone. The photographer was very professional and captured very smartly. The environment of the hotel was also beautiful. Almost every photo was good. I might have to struggle to choose the photos. In short, it was worth it! ~

We loved everything about our stay at this hotel. They contacted us ahead of time to confirm our stay and arrange transportation to the hotel. They were available via WeChat at any time and quickly fulfilled any requests we had. The hotel was very quiet and away from The busyness of the city center while still being easily accessible. The room was very clean and comfortable and they offered complimentary warm milk each evening as well as a fruit tray one evening and ginger tea on a cold day. Driver Wang helped us arrange our day activities and drove us anywhere we wanted to go for a very reasonable price. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone staying in XiShuangBanna.

I had a delightful stay at the Wanda Vista Resort Xishuangbanna, and can highly recommend the hotel for both luxury and a relaxing unique experience. A place that has something wonderful for everyone. A wonderful hotel with wonderful staff. The staff were particularly helpful in meeting my needs and ensuring a great stay. I would especially like to thank Martin Gan. He provided an excellent service, He was very helpful and diligent and is a true credit to the Hotel.

I really can't believe that there is such an affordable and comfortable swimming pool hotel in Xishuangbanna, and it is very close to the Starlight Night Market, and the style is also unique. The rooms are all wooden, which looks simple and elegant, and the soft lighting makes it more warm and comfortable. The pink wave pool is an indispensable place for Internet celebrities to check in at the hotel. Take out your camera and take a picture at will. The Southeast Asian-style thatched house is also very photogenic. The hotel's super large infinity pool is a great choice for swimming in the pool on a hot afternoon. Who knows! Absolutely! There are also pink and tender macarons, as if you are on vacation in Southeast Asia or Bali, directly dominating the circle of friends. The hotel also has a restaurant, afternoon tea, bar, laundry room, gym, and the facilities are very complete. A surprisingly local cultural luxury hotel. I originally booked here just for the convenience of visiting Gaozhuang, because I had been through the pitfalls of those Internet-famous hotels and homestays. This time, I chose Jinglan, which was recommended by a friend in Banna. I found that the local hotel brand in Banna is really special. It is luxurious and has facilities all year round. There is a Jinglan Art Museum on the 2nd floor. I searched online and found that the hotel owner is the developer of Gaozhuang. No wonder they put so much effort into culture despite the good location. There is a supporting swimming pool and outdoor water bubble pool on the 5th floor, which is also cost-effective. In short, price + location + hotel service + facilities are all a particularly reliable choice for this trip to Banna. (I will recommend it to my friends.

Was 'upgraded' to a 1 bedroom villa because our chosen booking was being decorated, but the villa is open downstairs so it is full of insects, dirty and pretty unusable. Plus the view was just of a street and other villas and I really wanted a view. The villa is far from the pool and it takes time to book a shuttle to go anywhere. Would be nice to have food or drinks service by the pool but there is nothing because the main building is used for selling other villas. The pool is only open in the afternoon as well 13:00-20:00 which is when most people would plan to go out and do things. Very few shops and restaurants around. Asked for our rooms cleaned, they took our dirty towels away and didn't replace them, they left too few bottles of water.

The hotel is located in Gaozhuang, which is relatively quiet. It is very suitable for people like me who have light sleep. It is convenient for travel. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the night market. There is also a free shuttle bus. There is a gym, swimming pool, beautiful environment, and the waiters are very enthusiastic. The room is cleaned every day after staying for a few days. There are many varieties of breakfast, and the rice noodles are delicious.

The quilt and pillows are soft and comfortable, the bedding is very clean, the bathroom has enough hot water, the air conditioner is very powerful, and the bathroom in the room is very clean. The room attendant was very enthusiastic, polite, and attentive. He recommended us surrounding attractions and some snacks, and reminded us of things to pay attention to when traveling. The hotel is in a very good location and is very convenient for traveling. You can see the Lancang River and Gaozhuang Xishuangjing from the window. The scenery is very good and even more beautiful at night. It is also very close to the night market and bar street. After dinner, you can go to the Lancang River to enjoy the breeze and visit the night market. It's very pleasant to stroll around and sit in the bar. The hotel parking lot is also very large and parking is very convenient. A very satisfying stay experience, highly recommended.
