The location of Shanxi Hotel is very good, next to May Day Square. You can get the room card for free at Chunyang Palace, which is a must-like. The service is absolutely amazing and the breakfast is even better. A small pity is that there is no window in the room, which makes it a bit stuffy.

It is a newly opened hotel, but the service is really lacking. I called the front desk to ask if there is a data cable, and asked someone to come downstairs to scan the shared power bank. Now even Atour Hotel will provide these. I called the front desk in the middle of the night and asked for ice cubes. I asked again after 20 minutes. The front desk forgot to ask for the room number and didn’t know where to send ice cubes. It was quite confusing. In other respects, it was pretty good.
