3-Star Hotels in Joensuu sub-region

Joensuu was not our destination but a place to stop for the night on our self drive route. We had been paying an average of $200 USD a night at Finland hotels. What a pleasure to come across Greenstar hotel! About $100 with a nice room and free parking. Front desk staff was very nice and she recommended a great restaurant walking distance from the hotel. There was construction going on in the street so we asked for a quiet room in the back which was in reality very quiet. Highly recommend.

A neat cottage was waiting for us. Comfortable space for 5 people. However, we could not enter the cottage because we had forgotten to send the contact details of the cottage key holder. In the dark and tired, it was a little annoying. A call to Zurich an

Very good accomodation with a very kind and helpful owner. Pevious emails form Interhome with a lot of irrelevant information, hard to pick up useful infos. Phone communication with Interhome costumer service needed before pick up keys.
