Hampton Inn Binghamton/Johnson City

What are the one star reviews about? Fire alarm didn’t go off a Five am like John said. Service was great and we even got to have the pool to ourselves. It was almost impossible to get out of the shower because of how nice it was. So many options on breakfast and we even became friends with the employees because they were so friendly!

The staff at the front desk were very friendly. Breakfast was a small offering but fresh and satisfying. However, the mattress was old, saggy and lumpy. The pillows were full of hard lumps, and there was blood on the quilt under an open one-sided duvet. Blood was discovered at 11 pm and we were too tired to call the desk and wait for a clean duvet. Also king bed had queen top sheet. We understand it was graduation weekend so you were busy but since room rates were more than doubled for the two night stay care of the rooms was lacking.

What a horrible experience. Brought my son back to college yesterday. Decided to drive 45 min extra so we could be closer to home the next morning. Checked in at around 730pm and everything was going ok. Plan was to sleep til around 930/10 grab breakfast and maybe let the girls swim a little. WELL alarm goes off at 5am. Because we were sleeping we were unsure exactly what was going on. After checking the hallway twice we realized it was our fire alarm. So we call the front desk 2 times to see what was going on. Of course no one answers either time. Now the whole family is wide awake and starting to panic thinking was there a fire or maybe carbon monoxide issue. We decide we are going to quickly shower and head down for 6am breakfast and just leave. Well I go into shower and no water is working. Not the sink and not the shower. So we go downstairs to grab a quick bite and leave and there is no breakfast. Apparently there was an issue. I’m assuming the sprinklers downstairs had come on because there was def a good amount of water on the ground. 3 employees are trying to clean up. One helps me check out and I ask if they are going to do something bc of the issues that were happening. For example reduced rate , some type of room credit, Hilton/Hampton points for a future stay. She says she has our info and will be in contact. So we get home shower and rest for a bit because everyone is exhausted. My wife decides to call because although it wasn’t very expensive paying almost $200 for less than 10 hours being there with all those issues should be compensated in some way. I wouldn’t expect all my money back but something. She calls and speaks to someone at hotel and they basically tell her too bad they aren’t giving out any refunds. Basically too bad soooo sad. Never again will we go here. Not too mention the location was as sketchy as sketchy can be. We had to drive through like a STORAGE place and its property to get to this hotel. Which we thought was strange as we pulled in but ignored because we were so tired for all the driving. NEVER AGAIN. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE

Staff is very friendly but it’s sub par for a Hampton Inn. Beds were okay but the property seems tired and could use a deep cleaning. Exercise room has a varied offering but cramped tight space. Location is behind a Wegmans which is convenient. Fine for a night but not a great Hampton Inn.

We stayed here with our athletics team for a 3 day invite hosted at Binghamton University. The hotel was in a unique location, but great for us - it shares a parking lot with Wegmans. The Hampton Inn itself is probably one of the smallest I’ve seen, maybe 60 total rooms, but they were great, renovated, clean, and comfortable. The staff was helpful in letting our team eat dinner in the lobby. The included breakfast is standard for a Hampton Inn. Well definitely be back when we are in the area in the future!

the stay was great! the room was clean and bed so comfortable. the staff was so great and helpful. kind as well. complimentary breakfast was restaurant quality all of the facility was clean and updated. the staff was great and very Helpful check in and check out was so effortless.
