The hotel is situated right next to Jyväskylä event centre, also called "Paviljonki". The location makes this hotel a good place for business accommodation when attending the events in the event centre. I wouldn't recommend it for a holiday. There is nothing especially wrong with the hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. The beds could be better: they could stop using the plastic cover sheets over the mattress and buy new fluffier pillows. I would describe the location (Lutakko area in general) uninspiring concrete jungle. Vast asphalt-covered squares on both sides of the hotel. The area is filled with identical looking, brick-facade residential and office buildings. There is a busy road between the hotel and the lake. I've given this hotel the rating "very good" instead of "average" only because the staff is really, really friendly and the breakfast really good.

Non existent service at breakfast. There was a sign promising they serve coffee to table. We came to breakfast 30 minutes before ending of breakfast time. There were only few customers. After fifteen minutes wait, no service or any kind of contact from personnel even though there were not too many customers and personnel did clean other tables. So I had pick up coffee pan myself. Personnel also did'nt wish good morning or even look at us. Really rude and unwelcoming.

The staff hurried and ran to get me a sandwich. With all the things I longed it to be. 10/10. I mean, the way it felt. It was like being courted in the mid 1800s. Every move id make. Every step id take. Every frown id fake, every fart ill fake. They were watching me. And Catering my every need ♡

This is a very nice place to stay in Jyväskylä. The location is perfect right by the little Harbour with many restaurants on boats as well as on land. The room was spacious - we had connecting rooms - so definitely enough space. Check in service was nice and accommodating and easy parking in the basement - with option to charge the EV. A big plus is the location as mentioned, a short walk tot the small center and pedestrian area. Breakfast was above average with a nice selection of fruit. Scrambled eggs could be better. Overall - we would not hesitate to use this hotel for another stay.

The hotel was new, clean and comfortable. The ac was good, the room was quiet and we slept very well. We came with Tesla and there were ev chargers in parking lot near the hotel. The staff was very friendly and professional. I loved even the toilets near repception. Everything was taken care. I think this was for me perhaps the best hotel experience in Finland and very good compered hotels around the world.

Stayed a night for the World Sauna Forum. Close to the venue and the train station, good breakfast. Bath tub is a big bonus, I enjoyed soaking after a long day. I liked the small library (physical books) in the lobby. One of the best Sokos hotels I have stayed.
