We have just returned from a trip to Efteling. We stayed at the wonder hotel for three nights. The theme park was absolutely flawless but I do have mixed opinions on our hotel stay. After a difficult travel day we unfortunately arrived quite late on site. Everything was done via the app which was great, the internet wasn't working well on my phone so had to get a physical room ke y which was not a problem. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. We hadn't made any reservations for dinner so deciced to order food to our room. Both my husband and I are vegan and the in room menu had nothing for us. We had to order childrens pasta without cheese and chips without the mayo. On park the food is outstanding but evening at the hotel has nothing for a vegan diet. The next morning was out first time for breakfast and we asked about vegan options and we was handed a whole pack of vegan cheese and just kind of left to figure it out. The day after we asked the staff for some more vegan cheese and they cooked us fresh croissants, yoghurt and a little platter which was amazing! The bed was so comfortable, loved watching Efteling TV, the view was great, the temperature in the room was perfect and we loved out stay. The only issue we really found was the acess to vegan food. Even when asking the staff at reception they understandably nodded and agreed that there wasn't really much for us and one staff member even suggested we go to the local McDonalds because they had more options for dinner!

Brilliant experience from start to finish staying at the Wonder Hotel. Travelled as a family with children aged 5, 8 and 10. Hotel easy to find with ample car parking. The app is user friendly and guves keyless access which is very convenient. Staff are cheery and welcoming. Room theming is excellent! So magical! The kids passports are a lovely extra! Breakfast was just ok - the usual self service mayhem and the scrambled eggs were not nice perhaps powdered - but still probably superior to similarly priced hotels in other theme parks eg Disney. Distance from hotel to park is 5mins walk via a side entrance so very convenient. We will return!
