Lovely Ryokan experience in a beautiful quiet country location directly by the river. We experienced authentic, exceptional hospitality, ate wonderful local food and enjoyed the Onsen bathing in room. Highly recommend this inn for a memorable Japanese experience (and don’t forget to bring google translate if your Japanese is rusty!!).

For some reason, my review was deleted, so I will write it again. I have written only the facts. Please do not delete it. When I checked in, I was greeted by a staff member wearing casual clothes, and there was not even a single word of greeting. I was given matcha and monaka in the lobby. Room When you go down to the basement and open the elevator, you will find your room. I wonder if it is okay to enter the room in the slippers of the building. When you get off, the bath is on the right and the closet is on the left. To get to the bath, leave the washroom and walk through what looks like a corridor. After that, there is a separate shower. From the bath, you can see the cooking from the restaurant next door, so you can't take your time. You can see the cooking from here, so maybe they can see you? I did not enter in the morning. When I check when dinner is served, they often say that. They said that they can't see over there. That was all. The closet was cold, so I dealt with it with a stove. There is only one door between the bedroom and the theater room. There is no DVD deck. The bedroom is also cold, and even with the air conditioner, it doesn't get warm. There is no humidifier. It's just cold. Next to it is a Japanese-style room. There is an air purifier and humidifier here. It's just cold. There is a mini kitchen next to the Japanese-style room. The toilet has a door, but it is a lattice door, so the room does not get warm. It is a motion sensor light, so the light comes on even if you pass by briefly, which is annoying. The refrigerator in the mini kitchen is free, but it only contains cola, black coffee, carbonated water, and cold water. The coffee was drip, but it was not refilled. I checked at dinner and hurriedly brought it. There were no cold drinks after the bath. There were only two cups even though there were three of us staying. I wonder if they went into the room to check? There was no explanation of the dishes for either dinner or breakfast. They left them and left. I didn't know what the dishes were. They answered if I asked. There was a menu for dinner, but not in the morning. The price list of drinks in the room and the price of drinks at the time of payment were different. (I did not check, so I don't know) I felt that this was what it was when I saw the simple menu. There were two yukatas, but they were thin. There were no bathrobes or work clothes. Only the bare minimum. The amenities were the same as in a hotel. There was no alcohol or air freshener in the room. The facilities were not worth the price.

We stayed in a Japanese-Western style room with a large open-air bath on the first basement floor. For 3 people. When we arrived, the staff didn't come out for a while, so we were greeted in our own clothes. We had matcha and monaka in the lobby. The room is when the elevator opens in the basement. When you exit, the closet is on the left, and the changing room and washroom is on the right. From there, you can go to the bed room. Bedroom There is a projector, but no machine to watch DVDs. There is only an air conditioner. There is no air purifier. There is only one feather duvet. It is cold in winter. When the bed and the door on the entrance side are closed, the changing room and closet are very cold, so there is a stove, so we turn it on. Japanese-style room. There is an air purifier. Only tatami mats. There is a mini kitchen, refrigerator, and toilet next to the Japanese-style room, and it is cold because the partition door is latticed, and the lights are turned on by the motion sensor, which is inconvenient. Mini kitchen The refrigerator is free, but there is cola, black coffee, strong carbonated water, and water, but no cold ones. There is no coffee maker, but they make drip coffee, but they have not refilled it, so when I asked at dinner, they hurriedly helped me. There are only two servings of dishes, which makes me worry if the room is really cleaned. For some reason, there is a microwave. Open-air bath. No bathrobe. To get to the open-air bath, you have to leave the dressing room/washroom and walk along a corridor. There is a separate shower room and an open-air bath, but the blinds stop in the middle, so there is a restaurant directly opposite, and if you take a bath at 5pm, you will make eye contact with the person opening the shoji screen, and you will be completely visible from the other side. However, when I asked at dinner, they only said, "Oh, that's what they say a lot," and "They said they can't see you." Meals. Even though the food is served, there is no explanation of the dishes for either dinner or breakfast. They leave as soon as they line it up. They only answer when we ask. One thing that is strange is that the menu price for drinks in the room and the price at the time of billing are different, but I don't know why. The hot food is hot and delicious. It's a shame that there is no explanation, which ruins the food. Anyway, there are only minimal facilities, and the explanation of the room is also minimal. Anyway, the room is cold and I can't rest. Isn't this the kind of facility that costs 57,000 yen per person? When I checked out, it was raining and the parking lot was far away, so they drove me there. Thank you very much. This is my personal opinion. However, I wonder if it would be difficult to come back?

I used a room directly connected to the elevator on the first basement floor. There are various ideas, such as being able to watch various movies on the projector. I asked because I wanted to eat crab, so I can't help it, but I'm still concerned about the price. Also, it's very cold to go to the open-air bath. Of course, the food was delicious! Especially the rice.
