It's OK in every aspect, but the food is not the best, just average. And my contract specifications are very high, but on the first floor, the air is not cool

I would rate this travel experience a 10 plus. This 5 generation family run Ryokan achieves excellence at every turn. From the moment I checked in till the moment I left, I was awed by the attention to detail, the comfort, the unique design, and the warm hospitality. Stylishly built from the ground up, along the Yamanaka River George, it is expertly run by the Amada family. The newest generation of owners Manami & Kohei, a husband and wife team, are consumate hoteliers well beyond their years.. Along with Kohei's mama san, they have brought every special unique aspect to my two night classic Japanese stay. The breakfast and dinner service meals were carefully thought out, beautifully presented and delicious. I can't speak highly enough of this experience. I arrived from a hectic 5 day business trip in Korea, and left in a culturally relaxed state of bliss. Thank you to Manami and Kohei for curating every aspect. I will truly cherish the memories. I only hope that I can return with my wife next time. Book now - don't even hesitate this adventure.

On the anniversary of our 10th year together (5 and a half years of marriage), we stayed at Yamanaka Onsen Hanamurasaki for the first time ♨ We came from Kyoto by car, but we were worried about whether we could make it because of the heavy snow, but it seems that my wife's car tires were for winter, and we just went through a tunnel on the way. . . We somehow managed to arrive safely 😅 We arrived at the inn at around 2 p.m. check-in time, and in front of the inn there was a snowy mountain and it felt like we were in another world, but the entrance that welcomed us was clean and beautiful, and we completed the procedures while drinking a welcome tea of Kaga Bancha in the lounge next door, and finally we were guided to our room 🙌 The lobby of this inn is on the 4th floor, and it has 26 rooms on 7 floors and was renovated and reopened in July 2022. Our room was Art Suite Summer 5 on the second floor, the only one of 26 rooms in total, and it was so spacious that we could use our favorite hot spring (half open-air bath and indoor bath) as much as we wanted, and it even had a sauna (・∀・) Nice!! As it is called an Art Suite, the corridor when entering the room was decorated with a lovely art of fresh flowers in glass❣ Dinner was an a la carte kaiseki meal, and the system was to order on an iPad up to an hour before the reservation time, and the points system was 300 points (33,000 yen) for two people, and if you go over 110 yen is added for each point. For now, we ordered while toasting with the free KANAZAWA Hyakumangoku Beer in the fridge. And since we love hot springs, we went straight to the hot spring in the room♨ It's really nice to have a hot spring in your room❣ We spent a relaxing time in the sauna. When I went to the open-air bath Hirahira on the rooftop, I was impressed by the snow falling from the open-air bath while looking at the snowy mountains 😲 It was my first time in my life to take an open-air bath in the falling snow ♨ Now, it's time for dinner ❣ For dinner, I was guided to a stylish semi-private room called "Nihon" for the stay dining room. The order I made from the iPad in my room was already printed out and placed on the table. What a convenient world we live in (lol) First of all, a draft beer 🍻 After a long bath, my throat feels heavy ~~~ For sake, I ordered a No. 4 bottle of Kanazawa's Kuroobi Dodo Yamahai Junmai It seems that the appetizer of Noto oysters boiled in kudzu is a standard 🐚 It's plump and delicious ❣ The butterbur is also the best ❣ Here, we toast again with sake. This is a drink that is rich but refreshing, and I like it. From here, it's an a la carte kaiseki course. The homemade dried mullet roe was mixed with the crunchy daikon radish and when I put it in my mouth, it was so delicious! 👏👏👏 Kaga terroir salad - watercress, daikon radish, red daikon radish, carrots, leafy vegetables, etc., all seasoned with salt, miso, anchovies, and olive oil - was surprisingly flavorful, and the crunchy vegetables were delicious for a vegetarian like me, which made me very happy. Kaga crab soup - crab legs and minced meat dumplings - the gentle flavor was comforting. The three kinds of local sashimi were swordfish, sweet shrimp, and monkfish - all of them were delicious, but the monkfish was by far the best. My favorite, soft-boiled abalone, was also served with turnip, and was just as delicious as usual. Yajibu-ni duck - an original dish by Hanamurasaki, it was my first time trying yajibu-ni, and it was the tastiest thing of the day😋 It was packed with the flavor of duck, which we both love, and it tasted amazing👏👏👏 Salt-grilled large blackthroat seaperch - you can't go wrong with this🐟 There isn't much fatty blackthroat seaperch this time of year, but this one was plenty fatty❣ Fritted cherry salmon and sake lees croquette Large fern - despite being deep fried, it was very light and went well with sake. And to finish off, we had Ishikawa specially grown rice, meat miso, pickles, miso soup, and for dessert, Kaga milk gelato and Kaga Bocha Baumkuchen. All of the meals were wonderfully and gently seasoned to bring out the best in the ingredients, and we were very satisfied (・∀・) Nice!! After the meal, we received a gift to celebrate the 10th anniversary 🙌 When we got back to our room and removed the wrapping paper from the gift we received, we found a bunch of cute cookies 😲. They were all very delicious and not mixed together, so they won't last long, but we'll have them as a 3 o'clock snack with my wife when we get home. We also relaxed in the hot spring and sauna in our room ☺. I couldn't sleep a wink that night, just like the kids can't sleep the night before their field trip... Looking out of the hot spring at just after 6am so as not to wake my wife, I was amazed by the beautiful snowy scenery and the magnificent natural scenery of the sacred mountain Hakusan ⛄ Now, I rubbed my sleepy eyes and had breakfast 🍱 Sweet shrimp marinated in kelp, dried baby sardines with Japanese pepper, seaweed tsukudani, and sesame rice were served with rice. Dried fish (blackthroat seaperch, firefly squid, and folded sardines) were served on a Noto diatomaceous earth charcoal grill, rolled omelette, local steamed vegetables (Kaga lotus root, Gorojima Kintoki, broccoli, carrots, Hakusan ham, sesame yuzu dressing, Noto salt), clam miso soup, pickles, Kaga Bocha tea canelé, and Ishikawa specially grown Koshihikari rice were also included, making for a very satisfying breakfast 🎶 Everything was delicious, but unfortunately the canelé was too hard 😢 After the meal, we were able to relax in the hot spring in our room and the sauna until check-out 🙌 We were able to fully enjoy the concept of this inn, "soak in the hot spring and enjoy food", and it was wonderful to spend our 10th anniversary with my wife and have such a wonderful time 👏👏👏 I'm grateful for this wonderful inn (人''▽`) Thank you ☆

Clean and stylish rooms that are thoroughly cleaned, staff members who are attentive while maintaining a safe distance from each other, and beautiful and delicious kaiseki cuisine made with the master chef's taste.Always clean. The large public bath and open-air bath are well-equipped with towels and supplies. I enjoyed my first a la carte kaiseki meal and chose the menu, and the seasoning and presentation were perfect. Also, my husband is Italian, but he's not used to having rice, miso soup, and fish in the morning, so I asked him if he could switch to a Western breakfast if possible, and he kindly agreed. I had a Japanese breakfast on the first day, but my husband's Western breakfast was also very appealing, so I asked him the day before if I could have a Western breakfast on the second day, even though I knew it would be impossible. I was able to enjoy a Japanese breakfast on the first day and a Western breakfast on the second day. Not only were the colors and presentation of the ingredients beautiful, but everything I ate was truly delicious. Everything was perfect. thank you very much.

Unfortunately, the rooms were old and hadn't been renovated for a long time, making it difficult to use the inn.The restaurant had been renovated and was clean, but considering the rooms, I don't think it's worth the high price. The food... , it's a system where you make your own choices after being shown to your room. I think it would be easier to understand if I included a photo of this one. It's confusing if you're not used to it. The food was delicious as it was freshly prepared, but it was served elsewhere in the restaurant. The separation between the two rooms is vague, and the voices of people sitting in other seats are noisy, so it is not comfortable for people who want to eat quietly. The restaurant cannot be called a high-class inn.

This is my 4th visit with my husband. When I entered the entrance, I was puzzled by the renewal of the feeling like a modern interior salone. The room was well cleaned, and I took a nap with the scent of my favorite tatami mats. It was great to be able to take a relaxing bath in both the bath and the open-air bath. I went to the dining room with high hopes for the food, and started eating with draft beer. Has our tongue changed? I felt that the saltiness of the bowl was strong and the soup stock was thin. Are you iron deficient? I will revisit after eating stir-fried liver chives.
