Absolutely wonderful, we had to leave another hotel because it was terrible and then we choose Outtrigger Kona Resort and it did not disappoint. A wonderful way to spend our remaining 3 days in Kona!

The ocean view was very smoothing and relaxing. The kids loved the giant pool and the water slide and we spent a lot of time there! The pool food was better than I expected. The breakfast place was also nice. Close to many activities. We went to the open market right in front of the hotel. We did the kayaking tour that included an exciting cliff jump, and the most incredible night time manta ray experience, all short distances from the hotel. Short drive to many tourist spots. Would definitely want to come back again sometime.

When checking out, check what they charge. They may charge you for a service (e.g., a movie) that you've never used.
When you point this out, they will just let you go, saying that a manager is not available and that they will email the details later, which they will never do.

It was ok. The dining experience was limited since the restaurant closes early and feels like a banquet hall instead of a restaurant. The pool was fun and a great way to swim. The location was pretty far from everything unless you are going to the manta boat excursion.

This was my fourth time on the Big Island, but my first time staying at this hotel. The view in front of me was amazing. When I checked in, I was recommended a plan that included free parking, lounge access, and breakfast, so I chose that. The breakfast was the same every day, but the lounge in the evening had a wide variety of drinks and food, which was great. The pool was also great, and I would definitely use it again.

The hotel is quite quiet, clean and tidy. The location is remote. You can only eat in the hotel. You can order takeout. The ABC sandwiches in the hotel are delicious. The seaside room has a good view. The tour group registered in the hotel is also good

The hotel has a nice view and a large swimming pool. The only problem is that although there is a coffee machine in the room, there is no kettle.
