Atour properties in Kaifeng

This hotel is super close to the Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden scenic area. It's just a 5-minute electric scooter ride from the entrance, and you can even enjoy the beautiful scenery along the river – it's really lovely! 😊 It's also convenient to walk there or take a ride-sharing service for just a few yuan. The whole hotel feels quite new and is generally quiet. The pillows and mattress are very comfortable. On the first floor, you'll find the gym, laundry room, and restaurant, all logically arranged. The front desk staff are also very welcoming, always greeting you when you come and go. 🙋 The breakfast selection is decent, and all the ingredients seem fresh. I'd definitely come back if I have the chance! (However, on the first night, I was woken up around 6 or 7 AM by a wedding – it was quite noisy for a while... It affected my sleep a bit, but I guess that's a special circumstance and nothing could be done about it...)

Upon arrival, the front desk even proactively upgraded my room since there was availability, which I really appreciated. The room itself was well-equipped, and very clean, making for a comfortable stay. However, there was a slight odor when I first entered, but it completely disappeared after airing out the room for an afternoon, so it didn't affect my overall experience. Additionally, the hotel offers a complimentary shuttle service to and from the station. The driver was right at the exit, so I saw the pick-up sign as soon as I walked out. All it took was a quick call to book in advance, which was super convenient.

The Atour Hotel (Henan University Qingming Riverside Landscape Garden) was a fantastic experience! The location is excellent, close to the scenic area and very convenient for getting around. The room was spacious and bright, and the hygiene was top-notch. The Atour bedding was incredibly comfortable for sleeping. The front desk service was attentive, and they offer a free laundry room and gym, so the amenities are complete. The overall ambiance is quiet and elegant, blending a scholarly atmosphere with the charm of the Song Dynasty. Especially the breakfast – it was abundant and delicious! Highly recommended!

If you're looking for an effortless hotel booking, Atour is always a good choice. Both the hygiene and the staff are quite reassuring. We had to rush to the next city in the morning, so we checked out very early. The staff thoughtfully prepared water and snacks for us, and even gave us three steam eye masks. The items might not be high in value, but it's the thought that counts, and we felt very well taken care of.
