For some of the weekend, I took a train from Xi’an to Kaifeng. This weekend, a cold front came in. It didn’t matter because the Gulou night market had everything I needed to adjust. I found some hidden spots (like Bayu Morning Rikaye Alcohol, Lecker’s Leban German Restaurant, and Jieyou Grocery Little Bar) while exploring. The Millenium Park, Gulou Market, and Wansui Shan Wuxia City are very close. The hotel property is great for walking, and the room was really comfortable. Front desk was easy to communicate with despite the language barrier, and everything very efficient. There is a nice gym and pool, but I was out exploring. There is also a shuttle which can take you to a couple of spots nearby. This property is good for conventions or families, but I was fine as a solo traveler. Food good.

After checking in, the service staff provided enthusiastic service and gave me souvenirs. The room was quite large and free parking was available. I was very satisfied at first, but then I found that there was no hot water in the sink, so I had to use cold water to wash up. I was sleeping soundly at 12 o'clock in the middle of the night, and I was woken up by the phone ringing, saying that the water delivery had been sent to the wrong room. I originally wanted to give a 5-star review, but I couldn't give it on these two points. The breakfast was also very average. There was no freshly ground coffee, which was also disappointing.
