No air conditioning OR fan! Went to bed to the sound of very LOUD, live disco music from the pool area. I complained repeatedly but ended up having to use ear plugs, hold the pillow over my ear, and eventually take a sleeping pill. In the morning, unbelievably, I woke to loud construction noise as they were erecting scaffolding for renovations right across the hall from my bedroom door. Then they let it be known that they had fumigation of the entire hotel (including the beds) at 10AM. I made sure to get out of there before that.

The service is amazing. Went there for afterschool ice cream with my son. It was quiet, calm. Just what we needed to hide from the hot kakamega sun and just rhe perfect reception for a stressful day. The staff are very helpful. They check up on you, very kind and welcoming. The service time is fast and the wait time is super minimal. Felt very appreciated actually. They are accommodating and kind. The ambience is cool and very relaxing. Perfect for a quiet chillout. The air is clean. They've got trees. No noise from traffic. Loved it. Thank you.

We had an excellent experience with The Golf Hotel kakamega as Sndbx Ubuntu during our recent 5 week conference meetings. The meeting package was exceptional, with state-of-the-art facilities and seamless arrangements that made our training event run smoothly. The catering services were top-notch, offering a diverse selection of delicious and well-presented meals that impressed all attendees. The staff was incredibly professional, attentive, and ensured every detail was taken care of, from AV setup to personalized requests. The conference room was spacious, well-equipped, and conducive to productivity. This hotel exceeded our expectations and provided an outstanding experience. Highly recommended for business events and conferences!

The room was very spacious, very clean and the ed comfortable. Customer service was satisfactory, very friendly and accommodating. The environment, to die for! Loved it. So calm and refreshing. Will definitely come back again because you guys made me feel at home.

Held a training at the hotel. Serene atmosphere. Clean. Comfortable. Very professional and friendly staff. The food was amazing. The conference facilities too. Located on a hill very green , a lot of birds and a bird feeder , very close to town and essential amenities , secure and ample parking. A swimming pool , beautiful gazebos. The hotel arranges trips to places of interest in my case the kakamega forest , traditional isukuti dancers , bone fires to keep you warm while you dine , among others. I would love to come back
