A Hidden Gem by a Peaceful Beach 🌊 I had an amazing stay here! The place is cosy, spotless, and located incredible beautiful, quiet beach — perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. The food was excellent — fresh, delicious, and full of local flavor. Everything about this place exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful, and friendly spot by the sea, this is the perfect choice!

Villa Blue was the best surprise and find in Sri Lanka. Wonderful villa, beautiful beach, quiet surroundings and what a great service. Manager Kamal-we all love you, you made our stay perfect. Friendly, intelligent and caring person. We felt like we were visiting our best friend who only wants to offer us the best. Friendly, always smiling and talking about local life. Chef Mithun-offered us the best seafood you can find in Sri Lanka. The pictures, plenty beautiful here, don’t begin to do Villa Blu justice. It is stunning, elegant, serene and more. The service was super attentive. The food generous and absolutely delicious. The setting is magnificent - along an empty beach. The air conditioning works great and you do need it. The only disappointment was the WiFi. Which is ifffy at best. It would have been good to know that at the outset. But still - highly highly recommend.

Our stay at Villa Blu was beyond our expectations! We had the whole villa to ourselves, given we were the only booking for 1 out of the 5 rooms at the property for the weekend, which gave us a lucky chance at enjoying this property to the fullest in privacy. We highly recommend this property not only because of its beauty and its surroundings, but because of the top-notch service it offers to its guests. From preparing us excellent food to giving us some on point recommendations on things to do around Kalametiya and looking into every one of our needs, Kamal, the manager, and his wonderful team made sure our stay was pleasant, comfortable and that we felt right at home. The villa has direct access to an unspoilt and beautiful beach which is mainly only accessed by the few guests staying at the neighbouring villas. Would not recommend swimming when the seas are rough. The crew were so nice enough to prepare us a private bonfire by the beach on our request during our last night at the villa, which we truly enjoyed under a clear starry sky and whilst listening to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Thank You Villa Blu for the wonderful weekend filled with sweet memories!

😊 The place is beautiful and very clean. The staff is very friendly. I am especially thankful to Lakmal. Because he treated us like family. Thank you too Kamal. Breakfast has an incredible variety of cravings. But there is a small problem. Kamal prepared a seafood platter for our dinner. Kamal said there was fresh fish, but the fish we got was very old and had no taste.

Lost in paradise (; Eine der schönsten Unterkünfte auf unserer Sri Lanka Rundreise. Kamal und sein Team sind stets bemüht, den Urlaub der Gäste unvergesslich zu gestalten. Das Frühstück wird à la carte serviert und bietet reichlich Auswahl. Man hat die Möglichkeit, Mittag- und Abendessen im Hotel einzunehmen, was sehr lecker, preislich allerdings etwas höher anzusiedeln ist. Die Lage ist fantastisch. Man kann stundenlang am Strand entlang spazieren. TukTuk‘s können jederzeit organisiert werden, um die nächstgelegenen Ortschaften/ Highlights zu erkunden. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch der stets gepflegte Pool. Zu erwähnen ist auch der kostenlos zur Verfügung gestellte Kaffee/ Tee am Nachmittag inkl. Kekse. Wir können die Unterkunft bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen und freuen uns hoffentlich schon bald wieder hierher zurückzukommen ☀️
