I would like to start by explaining that we have been travelling to Greece for 11 years, at least twice a year, and have already visited several islands and the mainland as well, as we love the hospitality, the country and the atmosphere. We generally travel to simple hotels, as we are always out and about during the day and do not place any value on all-inclusive or entertainment, preferring to eat out to get to know the people, the cuisine and the surrounding area. The only thing that is important to us is that our rooms are clean and cleaned regularly. This also includes towels and bed linen. We want a functioning air conditioning system and two room keys, so that we can also travel separately. On the day of our arrival (7 people, in 3 booked rooms) we paid the €100 per room for the air conditioning. We did not receive a receipt, as these can only be issued by certain people, who were not there at the time. We did not receive 2 room keys, as there is apparently only one room key. When we asked how we should arrange this, we were told that we could leave the keys in the room so that the air conditioning would run and the hotel staff would open the rooms for us when we returned to the hotel. So far so good - on the second day, after returning from the beach, we were informed by one of the "friendly hotel family/owners" that they would no longer be able to open the rooms for us and if we did not take our keys with us from now on, we would have to stay outside!!! So much for customer service and hospitality at the Rose Hotel. 2 of the rooms we had booked did not match the facilities advertised in the hotel pictures on the FTI website. When we asked, they first claimed that all the rooms were the same, then they gave in and said that only the furnishings were not the same. This is unacceptable because the advertising on the website does not correspond to the facts! In our room, water was constantly running out of the drainpipe in the bathroom, meaning that the bathroom was permanently under water. After my husband had spoken to the owner about the problem for 3 days, he finally came over to fix it. However, he did this reluctantly and unprofessionally, which meant that we had to ask him again the next day to remedy the situation, which finally happened. In our room, the toilet or the washbasin were not cleaned for 14 days, and the kitchen sink was not cleaned either. Used dishes from the kitchenette were not washed, but there was no detergent or sponge to do this yourself. Only the floor was cleaned, and only the part where nothing was standing. Nothing was dusted, the curtains were dirty, the tiles and the mirror in the bathroom were dirty, the closet door was broken and the lighting in the room was completely inadequate. In addition, one of the two existing sockets was so loose that you could
