Fantastic hotel in Pothia, we were met at the port by Sevastos and taken to the hotel, we had a quick tour of Pothia town on the way up and were recommended a number of great restaurants to try! The hotel is at the highest point in Pothia and the views are amazing! The apartment is lovely and every last detail has been thought through, the furniture is all handmade and you can see the attention to detail throughout! Breakfast was included in our room and it was great, the rooms also have a mini bar that you can use and is good value for money. The owners and hotel manager are brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us, I highly recommend Spongia apartments and can’t wait to go back!

This was a flying visit to town so we were at the ferry port so we could only stay one night. This accommodation was marvellous and we really wish we could have stayed longer. If ever we are back in the area we will stay here without a doubt. The lady who looks after the place is possibly the most friendly and helpful hotel employee I’ve ever met. Even before we arrived, the level of support and communication was top class and she did everything to make us stay wonderful. It is the highest accommodation in Pothia and when you’re down at the harbour you look back up And you can see where you are staying. We walked into the centre which took about 15 minutes but it is best to get a taxi back up which costs €7. The apartment itself was reasonably small, but brilliantly laid out and extremely comfortable. There is a mini bar, great shower, The air-conditioning was excellent and the bed very comfy. We had a very good night sleep and went to bed and woke up with views which were just beautiful of the harbour. The breakfast was served at whatever time you wanted it and set it up nicely for the day. Our hotel friend even gave us a lift down to the port which was very much appreciated indeed. Highly recommended indeed.

We visited the apartment from kos, with my partner for one night in our day off. It was the best day off ever. The room was very clean, the host has put on our bed a package with hygiene products and two sponges. The view is breathtaking and you can enjoy your breakfast watching it on your balcony. The staff, Voula Litsa and Migues (hope we wrote your names correctly), are very polite and friendly, pure of heart and whatever we needed they were there for us. Looking forward to see you again, George and Georgia ❤️❤️❤️

We’ve had a pleasant stay at Spongia! The rooms are very nice and clean, all with an unbeatable port view. The staff is precise and kind , providing you what you need for your vacation. Short walk uphill from the port, and you arrive at The best accommodation in Pothia , no doubt !

Me and my best friend had an excellent stay in one of Spongia’s beautiful apartments. The staff greeted us very kindly, the rooms were beautiful with a stunning view and breakfast was neatly included. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice and affordable stay in Kalymnos.

Excellent accueil à votre arrivée au port de Kalymnos, où l’on vient vous récupérer pour vous emmener à l’hôtel. La vue est magnifique, mais du coup l'hôtel est situé très haut sur la colline, et on adopte vite un véhicule pour descendre et remonter à l’hôtel. Les chambres sont spacieuses et offrent tout le confort avec sa grande salle d’eau. La terrasse de la chambre est grande, équipée d’une table et de deux chaises Le petit déjeuner est servi en terrasse à l’extérieur. Seul reproche, le petit déjeuner n’est pas très varié. Le choix de cet endroit est surtout pour le confort des chambres et la vue exceptionnelle sur le port et la ville de Kalymnos.

Contrairement à d’autres hôtels chers pour les prestations qu’ils offrent, le SPONGIA (du nom de l’éponge spécialité des îles de Kalymnos et de Symia) est remarquable. Situé sur le coteau et dominant toute la ville de et son port, son point de vue est étonnant. On peut accéder à pied au centre ville par des escaliers charmants au milieu des maisonnettes des habitants, des chats qui pullulent et des ruelles typiques. Gentiment, l’hôtel assure un transfert gratuit à votre arrivée en bateau. Les chambres sont vastes, parfaitement propres et modernes même si elles manquent parfois de fonctionnalité (emplacement du lit, du miroir de la salle de bains, accès compliqué par des marches raides, promiscuité avec les voisins, etc.). Le wifi est impeccable. Et surtout, l’accueil est parfait. D’une gentillesse et d’un sens de l’accompagnement des besoins du touriste, excellents. Quant aux prix ! C’est étonnant ! 120 € la chambre par nuit et … 7,50 €/personne un petit déjeuner servi très très copieux sur la terrasse. Je recommande sans hésiter et je les remercie d’une telle qualité de service tout à l’honneur et au diapason des Grecs.

Πάνω από τα δωμάτια βρίσκεται ένα καφέ μπαρ που λειτουργεί από νωρίς το πρωί ως τις πρώτες πρωινές ώρες με μουσική και πολύ φασαρία. Μην διανοηθείτε να ενοικιάσετε αυτοκίνητο διότι δεν υπάρχει χώρος στάθμευσης και η είσοδος για τα δωμάτια είναι ακριβώς πάνω στον δρόμο. ΥΓ Κλήση απο τροχαία 60€
