The Nautilus Maldives

We had a great family stay at the Mansion house. The house is big enough for 3 families stay very comfortable together. The Mansion is a trully luxury experience. We had the pleasure to have Siyam as our buttler, who provided fresh fruit and snacks daily for the house. Also, we could easily contact him to ask any question related to our stay. He has a great energy, was always happy and very friendly. As we had 4 kids together one of the most import things we took into account while searching for a resort in the Maldives was one with Kids Club, so I must to talk about how great this one is. After a late breakfast, our kids would go straight away to the Kids Club (less than 1 min walk from the Mansion - just one house away), and they would spend around 3 hours daily around there. The lovely lady who works there is kind and gentle with kids and very enthousiast of making actvities with them. I wouldnt be able to mention all the great things they made with her - from DIY t-shirt, to DIY kite, making drinks, having ice cream and searching for coins or butterflies around the island.. to name a few.. the kids felt bonded with her and the day to say goodbye was a bit difficult for the oldest. We noticed that many of the staff looks genuinely happy while working, so we asked to one of them how it is working there, how they spend their free time and how he told yet with enthousiasm how they can get reunited to enjoy the free time and go to other islands and even eventually get presents (goods) from the Resort as apreciation to their work. In sum, I highly recommend this resort, mainly the stay at the Mansion.

We are owners of a huge travel and event agency and have been “all over” and tried the most. But this was something else. What an experience from start to finish! In the north atoll area a 30 min plane ride this fantastic resort is on the Baa atoll. This is not for everyone. The whole experience is towards feeling you have your own private island from you arrive until you leave. Nautilus have no time no limit strategy. You can do what you want whenever you want. Breakfast at 2pm? No problem? Something you like, they don’t have in the menu? They fix it. You can do whatever you want at all times. And nothing is difficult or a struggle. The atmosphere is relax and informal. But the facilities and everything is ultra luxury. You have your own butler, the food is amazing and all villas and living areas huge and top notch. The food is also amazing. Nautilus has only 26 villas, but 4/5 restaurants, watersports and padel. Early a morning they woke us up and we went out snorkeling and saw a fantastic two Whale Sharks close to the resort. On our way home we stopped and snorkeled together with 12 fantastic Manta Ray’s - life time experiences! If you have the money. This needs to be on your “bucket list”

Oh. My. God. What a truly, truly remarkable place. One of the Best Resorts in the World Conde Naste say? A well-deserved award! Nautilus truly makes time stand still, and you get to drink in every second of your time there. The restaurants are amazing and really will make you anything they can, literally any time you want - menus are merely a suggestion or a guide. The beaches are perfect, the snorkelling remarkable and just steps from the beach. The accommodations are perfect, and the porthole in the living room floor is a wonderful idea. But what set the Nautilus experience so supper high was the staff. From our AMAZING, 'anything you need any time' house mater Sophia, to the lovely Natasia, Swan and Evi at the spa, our intrepid and determined manta guide Toby, to all the incredible waiters, waitresses, housekeepers, ground staff, EVERYONE was lovely and could not have been more focused on that hardest of things to do - delivering a remarkable, attentive guest experience while being also being so respectful of guests space and privacy. I've no idea how they knew when we were out of our room, but it was serviced like magic. I have no idea how they seamlessly communicated our preferences around the resort, but they are very, very, VERY good at it! The Maldives is chock full of amazing resorts. But if you want to go to the very very best....look no further than The Nautilus.

It was our first time in the Maldives and we had a great time. Highly recommend this resort for a honeymoon (my wife insisted I add this sentence.) All the staffs, especially our housemaster Yousra, were caring and friendly. Service was impeccable and overall atmosphere of the island was wonderful. But surprisingly, best part was the food. All 3 restaurants were wonderful and we especially loved their bread and fish/beef tartare. I also loved the flexibility of the resort: you can eat whatever you want, whenever/wherever you want. Of course, the flexibility is not just limited to food but everything else. We certainly hope to return and hopefully stay longer next time.

Discovering an intimate 26 key hotel that's at once cool, stylish and impeccably curated usually comes with a flipside : you have to dress up to fit in . Not so at Nautilus in the Maldives. Yes, its the go to hidey hole for the well heeled traveler, but the money is muted, the fashion is discreet and egos parked at the door despite the audience it attracts. From the immense villas with exquisitely woven rattan roofs , to the ever so relaxing spa treatments and the sumptuous dinners at " Zeytoun" with pods almost suspended in the sea , the entire place is meditation on chic. But it's the personalized service as much as the design that really makes you smile. Under the able steerage of Pietro Addis , The Nautilus is certainly securing its crown in the Maldives !
