It was a very tough decision to inherit their business because the economy of our town was slowing down. Then, Tohoku Earthquake occurred on Mar 11th, 2011. Our town was wiped out by tsunami. After tsunami, I decided to take over this ryokan to keep our family business, memory, and legacy.

I stayed overnight on the way home. The room was clean and the night view from the bath was nice. The food was also very delicious. It was cold outside and I couldn't take a walk, but I was able to spend a slow time in the room.
